  1. After reading a few of your other posts there is nothing obvious with you.
  2. I couldn't get through it. I quit just as you were listing fishing since being born with your dad. What?
  3. Conroe water 50-53*. caught 4 nonkeepers, and three keepers. Fishing up river pitching a junebug/red brushhog in three ft. up in the bushes. Caught 4 nonkeepers on a LC RC1.5 in crawfish. Water is offcolor to muddy. Could not buy a bite on a blade. I hope you were kidding. If not, that would have toped my list of stupid statements that I have read since I have been here.
  4. I may live in Houston, but I was raised on the lake area and hunted the land that Rayburn covers. I watched dozers push timber off into the Angelina river while they were clearing it. Just a little more off the wall talk and uneducated thoughts from someone that has no clue. Now excuse me while I tow my boat to conroe. Fishing the rest of today and some tommorrow. Will give a report when I return tonight.
  5. It's that way because we are fishing against each other when it counts.
  6. Your job will suffer. Too many outdoor choices to worry about working. The food is to die for.
  7. That speaks volumes...
  8. Could be the neutral safty switch. When they go it's just the nothing you mentioned. Everything else will work fine. Sure sounds like that could be it.
  9. I never thought I'd see a thread with the Banjo Minnow mentioned that would not be immediately taken down.
  10. Just to clarify, I did not catch those fish.
  11. Congratulations. A true 5+ lb. fish makes it a special day. When you get two it's a day you will never forget.
  12. Straight braid here. Never a leader when fishing it unless, of course, I'm throwing a c-rig.
  13. 51 here in Houston this morning. That's the high for today though. Supposed to be in the 30s by dark.
  14. Yep, two(Now 3) 13+ caught close by this week. O.H. Ivie and Livingston. One on a crankbait and one on a jig. water temps were in the high 40s. Both caught in 3-5' of water. The 13.19 was a new Lake livingston record.
  15. Well i sent this reply to David Campbell this morning. Hopefully he will reply when he returns to his office. Let's see what he has to say about it.
  16. Tickets are gone. Mods please take this thread down. Jack
  17. I won four VIP tickets this morning to the show here in Houston March 3, 4, & 5th(Wed., thur., or Fri.) and only need two. Any of you in Houston want the other two just speak up. Question was: "Who caught the largest bass during last years share-a-lunker program". It was Ricky Bearden. Caught a 15.93 out of lake Conroe. I was the first in with the correct answer. Jack
  18. i have been cutting back for a while now. when you own over a hundred lipless baits it tends to choke the bait monkey. sold off a few, but counted last night and still at 113. thinking about putting up lots of ten and getting rid of some more.
  19. Let me know what your thoughts are. I think some move all their lives and some never leave home. Jack
  20. I have several times typed in a incorrect paypal account to send money. It was never a problem to reverse the charge and correct the payment information. Several times enough time elapsed the the seller notified me that they had not received the payment. So, again, it should be no problem. Jack
  21. Guys, when you use an external antenna on a unit with an internal antenna the first thing you do is turn the internal antenna function off.
  22. You were not around back in the 80s when the fishing sucked on Rayburn. All I can say is "Thank God" it's not the same. So much better now. You sir, have no idea how the fishing was back then. It was really down on a lot of our lakes. It's natural though, due to many things, lakes go through up and down cycles.
  23. He can go in and reverse the charges and send to the correct email address. It's not a problem if he is an honest buyer/seller.
