Berkley Power worms ??
If you're that particular about the color then buy a bunch of 4" ones and cut the front off of half of them and glue the cut part onto the front of the non-cut ones and you can get a 7" version. Mend-it or some other soft bait glue would work the best. I still think you're making too much out of the specific color.

Huge mako in gulf
Kind of sad that such an impressive fish died. Amazing catch though.

http://www.***.com/descpageSFWBERKLEY-BPW4.html# I'd personally just change colors and fish with the 7" or the 10".

Would you buy a Chrysler?
Probably will be buying a Toyota!!! Ford and GM don't make mini vans because they suck at it. I just don't think it's a good idea to get a couple of extra bells and whistles while potentially buying a car from a company going bankrupt.

Would you buy a Chrysler?
Mini vans are cheaper than SUV's thus leaving me more room in my fishing budget!!!! That is most certainly NOT lame!

Swimming at Bass Pro Shops
If it's the same one that I've seen then they're a bunch of pathetic losers.

How's that tax refund coming along?

Would you buy a Chrysler?
Hmm, this is my biggest concern too. We're trying to decide between the Town and Country and the Sienna. The Sienna is a bit more comfortable, but the Town and Country has better interior features. The warranty issues on the Town and Country leave me greatly concerned even though I think it unlikely that the gov't will allow Chrysler to completely dissappear.

Lots of problems with the mini van?

Would you buy a Chrysler?
I'm not in any hurry, just wondering if the potential bankruptcy of Chrysler would affect one's decision to purchase a new Chrysler vehicle. I'm thinkin that the risk of losing warranty coverage would be pretty small as any bankruptcy filing would likely proceed with gov't assistance. However, there is a risk that a warranty would not be honored and that has me concerned.

X2. What's to brag about? Freezing winters, crooked politicians, budget deficits, high taxes, crappy traffic, bad roads, etc, etc. I need to move!
-
Would you buy a Chrysler?
Given the myriad of issues that they are facing and the real threat of bankruptcy would you buy one and hope that the warranty is honored?

BPS hook quality?
Why? Because it snapped intead of straightening out? What's the difference?

LMB Fishing on a Small Pond
X2 That and upsize your lure selection. Bigger jigs, swimbaits, larger soft plastics, etc.

Paca Craw or Rage Craw
Just as an FYI, Burley exaggerates at times. ;D I haven't fished the craw by itself, but as a jig trailer they are no less durable than a paca chunk.

Paca Craw or Rage Craw
If I remember correctly, they also send you free stuff. edited to add Found the thread... http://www.bassresource.com/bass_fishing_forums/YaBB.pl?num=1232323743/0#0 So, if you throw a weightless paca craw it will eventually float to the surface?
-
Rigging the sweet beaver
If you're fishing weightless, get some of the parasite clips and you're bait will stay where it's supposed to. If you want weights then buy the parasite weight. http://www.parasiteweights.com/

slow fall jigs?
Find a light weight jig head that has a lot of skirt material and put on a large trailer and it will fall really slowly.

There is a rumor going around that trutungsten is going under
You do know that you have a website where you can sell them!!!

RAGE TAILS RAGE TAILS RAGE TAILS!!!!!!!!
Well given that they've got topwater and bottom baits I fish them all day long. Also, I fish the shad all day through any floating vegetation, particularly if that vegetation has open areas in it.

And that's exactly what I've been saying in this thread. Maybe I should suggest that you reread this thread! ;D

Need help: Finesse Jigs w/ quality hooks
Are you using 10lb diameter or 10lb test? It you're using 10lb test why would you use a 20lb leader (abrasion resistance?)? You setting the hook super hard? You don't have to use a monster hookset with braid. Braid doesn't stretch like mono so the hook set does not need to be nearly as hard. Is your drag tightened down as far as possible? Do you know what it is set at?

How old?
First, are you SURE these fish are "4 lbers"? Is this a guestimate, or on a good scale? A 4lber, if it's fat, will be in the 19" class. The real questions should be, what size bass were stocked and are you SURE that there weren't any fish in there prior to stocking.
-
How old?
Nope, it's all about metabolism = water temperatures. When you add stocker trout to the equation, you grow monsters! Hmm, you're point seems to reinforce mine. Your point of stocker trout is directly in line with what I say. In warmer water (south) bream spawn more often leading to more available food for the bass. In warmer water fish (both bass and baitfish) are more active and are able to digest their food more quickly. Being more active means that they eat more and put on more weight. It all comes down to available food. Beyond gross generalizations it's impossible to tell the age of a fish by it's length or weight. I've fished ponds where I could catch fish about every other cast but nearly every single one was under a pound. That pond was overpopulated and the fish didn't have enough food to put on weight. On the flip side, my in laws moved into an "active adult" community with a fishing pond. It is a new pond and I primarily catch 2-3 pounders there. That's because those fish don't have any competition from an older class of bass and were able to catch more food.
