  1. a fat free guppy... any type of shad pattern
  2. looks like a little kid's toy... i'll pass
  3. I like cranking really fast, then suddenly it feels like a snag, then it kicks and starts fighting and you realize you have a lunker on your hands...
  4. dunno but thats a good deal for anyone who's looking for a 7' MH rod
  5. I was out today and watched some guy hammer dinks on some lipless crankbait... 60-70 is still quite impressive
  6. The wal-mart where i live did that last winter, but not to the extent of what you're talking about. I don't really go there for fishing stuff anyways unless i really need something right away
  7. I like their power shakey head worms and power worms, but thats about to the extent of it
  8. Vanish is pretty much the worst line i've ever used
  9. They are also at ***.com They are much cheaper on ebay though
  10. I would say a 6'6" MF... but the two piece requirement kinda makes me draw a blank on options
  11. The Alpha is lighter than the Sol and has CRBB bearings
  12. Its kinda hard not to buy it when you see it for $90
  13. I'm not sure how the Sol looks better "on paper" + Alphas Type R = sweet cork knobs ;D
  14. DUDE! the twitchin bar isnt made for reeling in a fish, or any amount of pressure like that. its made for subtle movements of baits. pretty funny story though
  15. I've heard this as well... something about finicky bass will try hitting the smaller lure behind it because its less intimidating or something. Never tried it though...
  16. I usually cast them out past a place where i know bass are holding and retrieve. Once i get to that spot, i then jerk it and let it kinda die off and let it sit for a few seconds between each jerk. I've caught a few bass this way, but not really with just a plain retreive.
  17. those are some beautiful cranks... i wish i was that talented
  18. i've had that happen numerous occasions, usually when i'm working a jerkbait or burning a crankbait
  19. bass man your picture rocks! ;D
  20. A topwater popper would go well in that mix...
  21. I would get a Revo S... you can get it for 100 or a little over if you do some shopping around
  22. 3/8 oz is perfectly fine... it depends more on the rod you're using with the baitcaster
  23. good video, love the commentary
  24. I prefer the beat up look to the new out of box look anyday...
