Hello Robby, I live near you so I want to know if you know the club called the Delaware River Bassmasters? Hey man, We should try to get out fishing at some point since we aren't far from each other! I live right next to Beltzville so I spend the majority of my time there. I don't know any of the guys in the club so I would suggest attending a meeting and see how you mesh. How the guys are in the club can tell you a lot about the enjoyment level you will receive by joining and attending events. I looked at their tournament schedule and all I have to say is d**n! They will have you fishing some awesome water and some small PA waters. Some of the places they are having tourneys blow my mind. I have a cabin on Promised Land and I am surprised they chose that body of water. You will catch a lot of fish, but winning weight will probably be around 8 lbs (someone had 12#'s last year which is awesome!). Honestly this club looks like a lot of fun, and depending where I will be this summer I will take a look at it as well. PM me we can talk more about our area etc..

I did a couple weeks worth...not fun let me tell ya.. I hope you enjoy doing push ups and pull ups. As if you arn't feeling bad about yourself enough they tell you the one guy only has one leg and that he isn't even breaking a sweat.

All I fish is non boater tourney's. I like to put my bag in the back compartment. The less loose items the better.

Wow I thought the fish just fell out of the sky... When he says they are planting all kinds of fish all types of ideas come to mind. It is a vague statement, but I picture them putting a wide variety of species in. I guess if they are willing to consistently stock it would make sense, otherwise I am sure nature will decide what it wants to have in the quarry at what amounts.

I hope that's not in their management plan. If so it will be interesting to see how things pan out in the next year.

This is awesome.. It's like the stories that don't come out in person, because you don't want your kids to think it's an OK way to act, or others in the community. I personally think these are the best stories... You guys make me feel normal ;D

Grimlin I don't think it's just Steve here. Although he did have a few contradictions I can see some of his points. Both made condescending remarks that escalated the argument. The internet is built for some people so they can jabber all they want without the chance of a typical outcome. I agree that we know the problem areas and that we could try our best to avoid them. Crime can happen anywhere any time, but chances are increased at specific places. I also don't think we should have to change what we do so we don't get mugged, but it happens daily. Even when I am at the ATM I am watching everything. I recently bought a firearm and although I feel a bit more comfortable having it, I would NEVER want to use it on someone. I guess if you carry when going to the problem areas to fish you know what you could in store for you so to each their own. Another thing is some of you were saying how hard it is to get your permit. In some states this may be true, but not PA. In PA you get the standard background check and you get the permit the same day.

In the market for a concealed carry holster. I think I want one that is IWB. I know I will probably try a few out before I find one I like. I have a glock 23 I want to use with it. Hopefully it won't be too uncomfortable.
