I just accepted a job in Wyoming. I will be conducting salmonid work throughout Wyoming, and living close to the Grand Tetons and Yellowstone. Has anyone been there? I have heard it is beautiful. Does anyone know how to survive the following attacks: Cougar, Black Bear, Brown Bear, Moose, and Wolf? It looks like I will be hanging up my bass gear for awhile and take advantage of some famous trout waters.
  2. I would probably look at some crankbait fishermen. I am sure there are some locals as well that may finish decent.
  3. Can I hear an AMEN! Probably not, there are no religious posts allowed on this forum. You may want to read the rules again. http://www.bassresource.com/bass_fishing_forums/YaBB.pl?num=1172273207
  4. Not a cat person eh? It is one of the best ways to tenderize the meat.
  5. That is hilarious....You can tell fishing season is among us, these posts got more entertaining.
  6. Top 5 comment ever.. .or at least within the last two years of me being here.
  7. I do. In a stringer tournament I will go for a limit then upgrade. The big bass tournaments I fish are 3 hours long. I will sit on a point or two where I know big fish come up on and feed. Sometimes being patient works, sometimes it doesn't.
  8. I am fishing in NE PA
  9. I hope your kidding about the magical lure.

  11. I caught a 22 inch rainbow and a 25 inch palomino after the opener. My cousin caught two 25 inch rainbows a little while ago as well. I also will catch 10-15 fish in the evening late in the season. You need to learn what streams will hold fish late season and where they won't.
  12. Has it occurred to you that possibly he doesn't want it to be official in the United States? Maybe he is just tricking his "fiance". ;D
  13. bout $385 actually it's about $435 at the current rate of exchange. The dollar is about $.92 to 1 yen. Umm No..? from today (04102010) xe.com Live rates at 2010.04.10 15:38:28 UTC 1.00 JPY = 0.0107354 USD Japan Yen United States Dollars 1 JPY = 0.0107354 USD 1 USD = 93.1500 JPY Yeh that makes sense. Not that 92 cents american USD = 1 yen. Which is how you made it look. :

  16. Alright so my buddy had a virus on his Gateway m-285-e which is a tablet laptop. I attempted to just reinstall windows xp, but it wouldn't work. It gave me an error saying that the harddisk could not be found. I then attempted to put windows 7 on. Windows 7 went on perfect, I have three errors right now in device manager. I have a mass storage controller error, ACPI/MS tabletbutton error, and ACPI/FPI2004 error. I downloaded and ran suggested drivers, but the touch screen still won't work. Any advice?
  17. Never had any so no need to look for them now that i'm 23. modified- I was joking, I knew morels and morals were different. How dare you guys doubt his spelling.. Everyone on BR uses proper spelling.
  18. I have a fairly long rope attached to the eye on the bow I usually pinch it in the tailgate. I have the safety and winch line unhooked. I will back down enough to float it pull back up and grab the rope and tie it off quick to the dock and park the vehicle. I don't know how many people would take me to my boat around here, and I just have a 16ft with a 25hp motor.. It wouldn't be fun jumping into this boat.
  19. Be careful with ice. Sometimes there are chemicals in it such as chlorine. If you freeze water in a bottle it is better, but you can hurt the fish with the bottles while running. I suggest not adding ice and just using peroxide and sure life or using surelife in the water before freezing.
  20. Graduating from Penn State with a BS in Fisheries Science... Is anyone hiring (hint hint Bob Lusk)??
  21. I have heard that some of the better guys who have boat sponsorships are given 3 boats. One boat to use for the season, one to sell, and one as a backup. This is of course hear say. In Ike's book he described his levels of sponsorship. That will give you an idea of where he was at a few years ago. I am sure his prices went up.
  22. Blee so your saying you have actually seen LuckyinKentucky's package? :-X
