  3. Hank Parker and bill dance are the guys who taught me to fish when I was a kid. It would give me a chance to thank them for keeping me hot to fish after all these years.

  5. I was a beetle spin junky, when I was a kid. And now I have passed the fever on to my kids. they still produce, makes me want to start throwing them again.
  6. This global warming is putting a damper on my good time.
  7. I grew up on lake st.clair and the I always found it funny that at the local shops the fish were always and only biting on what they just got a huge box of. It was usually some thing you would not ever be intrested in.
  8. I've always said " Instant A$$h@le just push this button"
  9. Andrew I told you things would turn around at metro. Where you back in the canal/marsh or up front closer to the lake. Way to go, wheres the pics.
  10. Buckwheat, the float tube sounds perfect for you. There is a two bladder back rest that some say adds alittle saftey, but a PFD should be used. I have been doing this for years and I have never had a serious problem the one time i stuck a hook in my tibe , I didn't know until the next morning when it was flat in the garage.
  11. welcome, you sure came to the right place for advice.
  12. Welcome to the boards
  13. I've been tubing for years and it has always been my opinon that in a tube you have to kick your way to a spot so you might as well cast and let your lure find the fish. Yoy have the perfect opprotunity to make a million cast, so there is not much water you will miss. My point is if there fish there you will find them.
  14. That should keep the hooks out of the back of your head.
  15. The hats are actually good, it lets us know what kind of a person we are dealing without getting to close.
  16. As a some what new member I would just like to thank everyone that keeps this site up and running. The knowledge and dedication that is shared on this forum is second to none, and is a testament to the heart and sole people put into bass fishing. The members here are the cream of the crop and none of us would be here if it wasn't for the tireless efforts of everyone involved. Thank you again and again Paragon P.S. one more post and I won't be one of those annoying newbies ;D ;D
  17. A-Jay Fly fishing is OK as long as you don't wear a silly hat of some kind. You know what I mean. Good luck.
  18. A-jay I'm starting to it's never going to stop blowing. Maybe Sunday will be a little less crazy. At least its kind of warm.
  19. Hawg I have been tubing in Michigan for years and years. Without one problem (knock on wood). I love it it lets you fish places that most people can't fish from shore and you have to kick to get where you are going, there is nothing to do but fish all the water. You will catch alot of fish. My kids do it with me to, I always tell them "you can go as far as you want but remember you have to come back. It is great and inexpensive to. Yes you will wet your pants when you don't see the logs and you kick one but you get used to it.
  20. welcome, to how i spend my sofa time.
  21. Logger its always nice to catch fish first time out. I was just talking to someone about making our way up to Wakely this summer. Do you plan on fishing there at all. paragon ps dry boats are great.
  22. I fished the wind on sat. from a float tube on a small lake, if you can beleive it. I was suprised to see taht I had no problem with my RevoS not one over run or backlash. I dont think I can give KVDs line conditioner all the credit. 8-)
  23. Well I got out yesterday and didn't catch one crappie. But we did catch a few of those bass we were talking about.
