  4. I prefer one without anti reverse. So, with that being said it would be almost anybody who makes a 5.1 ratio, non anti reverse, preferably left handed reel. With that being said I'm really digging my lews. -gk
  5. I would recommend Georgia boots. I think the model name is the Georgia giant, but they run about $80. I'm still on my first pair after about 5 or 6 years. -gk
  6. check out the BPS excel. has pretty good knot strength, and is pretty cheap. I think I paid $20 for like 4,000 yards of 14# -gk
  7. My doctor said to drink REAL lemonade like the chik-fil-a kind, the citric acid binds with the stone and dissolves it a little. -gk
  8. I passed a small one, nothing too bad. What really made me hurt was having one broken up. the joker was 4.6 x 5.4 mm. now that is a whole new world of hurt right there. -gk
  9. <-- fellow bank beater, don't feel like it is a hindrance it really isn't. With that being said throw whatever you want. I have personally caught a ton of fish on spinnerbaits. -gk
  10. I'm surprised nobody has said the bandit 100s, by far one of my most producing cranks. -gk
  11. The 6'9" MH/XF is the perfect bank fisher Flipping rod. -gk
  12. I also have to agree about the lefty reels also. That is one reason I have mostly pro qualifiers and shimanos. -gk
  13. ... And now comes the inevitable 2oz. Deep cranks battle. -gk
  14. I keep it simple, braid and mono. braid on jig/flipping/frog rods mono on everything else. -gk
  15. old military ruck sack, the thing is HUGE. -gk
  16. as little weight as possible, mostly none. but every once in a while a 1/64, or 1/32 oz weight. -gk
  17. also, don't hesitate to use jerkbaits in warm water too, There have been a couple times where fish won't touch a crank, but will absolutley hammer a jerkbait. -gk
  18. anything made of plastic. except lizards. I can't catch a cold on lizards. -gk
  19. I was about ready to say, check out the prices on the frog lures. People would be surprised how much some of those are worth. -gk
  20. I remember reading an article in in-fisherman about this, I think they said the success was becuase it looked just a hair different than the regular cranks everybody else is throwing -gk
  21. scrapple, sause, chittlins, and chow chow are standard table fair in SC, along with shrimp and grits, low country boil, and chicken feet. -gk
  22. no, but just regular nerf swords I got at wal mart. My random shenanigans are always good for a laugh at the field. I get asked all the time by people I've played with before, "where is your crazy hat" or something else I've carried. The sweater vest is actually a sweatshirt I got at walmart also, they had a whole rack of ugly christmas sweater styled shirts. I will say, I have a top secret one waiting to make its debut that makes that one look normal. -gk
  23. I'll just leave these little jewels here for you guys to think about. And yes, before anybody asks, I do have a nerf sword in my pod pack. -gk
  24. ^ agreed 100% -gk
