  1. I almost forgot, the Daiwa Peanut is pretty good. -gk
  2. Bandit 100 series are good cranks to try. -gk
  3. At that time I usually try to go to a reaction bait. If nothing I will make a couple casts with a worm. If I still don't get anything, I head home. -gk
  4. I thought he was Irene's pimp. -gk
  5. I have an old Marine Corps standard issue back pack. I think it is the MOLLE system I think. -gk
  6. It's Wolfenstein, I gave up on the last one. Too sketchy for me. -gk

So are GOLDEN RETRIEVERS. I'm sorry hunting with a poodle is kind of funny. -gk
  8. I also fish from shore, here are some of my favorites: Daiwa peanut, Change the hooks. The stock hooks are terrible. Bandit 100 series Rapala DT4 Strike King (I forget which one it is but it has a square bill and dives 1-3 feet) H20 express (If you have an academy outdoors around) -gk
  9. Look what happened toady man, SOX 14, yankees 1. FOR BOSTON!!! -gk
  10. Would 12# Trilene XL be O.K. for big cranks like the H20 express deep diver? -gk
  11. If the person was with you, I would let them pick out a bag or two of worms. -gk
  12. How much does this weigh? I am thinking close to an ounce, also what pound test I have it on 12# trilene XL. -gk
  13. That chainsaw holder looks like something you would see in a horror movie. -gk
  14. I am not really impressed with any fast food restaurants. Although, if I had to pick 1 I would choose sonic. -gk
  15. Forget the sniper rifle, get the battery operated machine gun. -gk
  16. I fail to concur. In most ponds, and even smaller lakes, I have great difficulty gettin' bites on anythin' shad colored (with the exception of a white spinnerbait). I'll clean my pond out with a black back silver side shad-ish crankbait or spinnerbait. -gk
  17. Falcon Original 6'6" Daiwa TD pro reel 7.1 gear ratio 14 lb test. -gk
  18. Throw anything you would at a lake. I have never really seen any "for use at lake only lures". -gk
  19. Yes, I pulled a 20" and a 23" out of our neighborhood pond. -gk
  20. Daiwa peanut, make sure to change the hooks, the stock ones SUCK. Bandit 100 series Rapala DT 4 H20 express shallow runners Strike king HC1 All depends on the depth you want it to run though. A lot of people don't crank in ponds, big mistake if you ask me. Just learn what the bottom is like. I would not throw them around exposed cover though (i.e. old dock pilings or submerged trees). I have had the most success cranking on flats that are not very weedy . -gk
  21. Looks similar to my pond try spinnerbaits. Another thing when there is little to no cover, find a flat, they are usually chasing minnows on the flat. -gk
  22. With all the talk about these, I was just curious, what is the best way to use them? Do you put it on your line and bang the lure free? -gk
  23. Sorry for the re-post, did not see the other one -gk
  24. I heard on the news that the great Les Paul himself died at the young age of 94. -gk
