  1. looking to update my dinosaur cranking rod, and was wanting a rad that can handle pretty much everything from 100 series bandits to dd22s. I was thinking either tha crank'n stick or maybe even a tessara? -gk
  2. X2, plus burning spinnerbaits is almost easy. -gk
  3. for lures, Check out theluretour on youtube, great plastic videos. -gk

  10. also, look at the profile of the bait, you could both be using the same color, but the action of the bait probably has more relevance than the color does. -gk

  12. I carry a military standard issue allice pack with 3 370 boxes full of anything plastic, two smaller boxes for topwaters and shallow cranks, with another box that just fits a deep diver. on top of all that I carry a cd wallet with spinnerbaits and jigs. I would suggest the military back packs. they hold a lot and have giant pockets on the front. -gk
  13. anything. I have caught fish on just about everythinf this year, but my big fish came on a jig. -gk
  14. weedless and weightless. -gk
  15. Don't rip it, pull it just hard enough to make the water ripple, with a slight splash sound. -gk
  16. X2 probably pricey though. Aluminum would probably be your best bet on a master that you want to use over and over agin though. -gk
  17. Cranks and spinners around and over weeds, weightless texes rigs, lightweifght jigs that "sit" on top of the weeds, basically use as little wieght as possible so your lures don't go straight down through to the bottom without having time to be presented to the bass sitting in the weeds. Jerkbaits are also good. -gk
  18. I like both, but I have easier access to a neighborhood pond behind my house, so I fish a pond more often. I am not complaining though, because I have caught a 21", a 23", and a 24" Bass out of it. -gk

  21. I have smaller hands, so I don't use the round reels so I won't be able to help there. I will vouch for the falcon originals though, A pretty good rod in my opinion. -gk
  22. A 24" bass in my pond agrees with your bed bug comment. -gk
