  1. I used rustoleum paint and primer, first I sanded down to bare metal, wiped it down to remove dust, and then rolled on 2 coats of each, its very cheap, and nice looking, I'm posting pics of my boat soon.
  2. i have a lakehouse down there and i was throwin a storm wild eye wiggle shad, in chartreuse and i was catchin off the mouths of coves, docks, and near submerged trees
  3. i just powed sanded my boat, and i used rustoleums primer and topside paint, the paint thats for surfaces that are above the water line (een though most of it will be underneath the water line) dont pay the extra money for the paint thats for the surfaces underneath the water line, its not worth it, just go with the normal paint and do a very detailed job of sanding and you should be happy with your result
  4. looking veryyy nice, i just finished my boat with rustoleum, it looks great, and cheap

  15. I have been looking everywhere for self etching primer and a top coat to paint my boat with, i have called, and automotive paint shop, sherwin williams, hardware stores, and alot of other places, if anybody knows where to get paint and primer for an aluminum boat please post, thakns nick
  16. i have one of thier batteries for my 45 lb. thrust bass pro shops prowler trolling motor, i think they work pretty well, they hold a charge for a long time, you can ruun full power on your trolling motor for a while with out driaing your battery and after those long days it still has enough juice to take you to that last fishin spot, overall i think the are a pretty good deal considering they are only 50 dollars, and if you are wanting to get a trolling motor the prowler series from bass pro shops are pretty good as well nick

  21. i use the bass pro shop battery for my 45 lb thrust 12 volt trolling motor, i use it as my main source of power on my 10 foot jon and i can fish for 3 or 4 hours on it , it ran me about 60 bucks if i remember
