Well im a kid, and I can tell you i'd rather have a what my dad was using. If i was starting out a kid i'd give them say a citica and a nice rod.

Nice i only took a few shots with my dads canon 20d, but the tripod was in the garage and i never bothered getting it.

i have both and from that experience ill take the curado without thinking twice.

The person already says he wants a different reel. For that money a daiwa 153 hst wolkd be nice the hsta is he newer one a little out of your price range? If you really had you're heart set on the citica return it and try another one and if it breaks stay away!

I have a curado 300 and it as not as big as you guys make it seem : It would make for a good swimbait rod but im using it for heavier lures and some flipping/ pitching.
