Can 1 rod cover all of my spinning needs? I am looking for a rod that i can use for shaky head rigs, weightless baits, tubes and maybe even small jigs. If so what power and action would be best?

You respect him but you say hes not the best fisherman? He never said he was the best fisherman and i dont think you have the right to comment on his fishing skills. Who cares how good he is or isnt? Just because he has a tv show doesnt mean he has to be KVD. He's just fishing with normal guys for fun like you and i and 95% of the people on this forum.

I would say spinner/buzzbaits. They have never produced anything for me.

My dad knows Charlie Pride personally, he used to go visit with him at his home before my dad moved back to Abilene, he says hes a really really great guy. Not to mention hes a great musician

Lately i have had this sudden urge to start running in the mornings. I was just curious about how many of you run, jog etc. How long do you do it for and how many days a week?

I remember back when i was 9 and 10 I would wake up go to my friends house across the street first thing, we would get on our bikes and not get off until the light at the corner of the street came on. A computer or video game or the tv was the last thing i had on my mind. I bet 9 and 10 yr olds could work a computer better than i can now. I think it has alot to do with the parents. If they expose the kid to other things than tv or computers then they might strike an interest and want to do it more and more.

I grew up around musicians seeing as how my father is one. Practically my whole family on my dads side plays an instrument of some kind. Music is one of my favorite hobbies next to fishing.Waylon and Hank are some of my favorites too. Country state of mind is a great song. Listen to Travis Tritt i bet you would like him, Charlie Daniels too. Do you like any newer artists like kevin fowler or Rodney Atkins? Kevin fowler is my favorite country artist right now, long line of losers is an excellent song.

I had NO CLUE that people would protest at a funeral. I cant even begin to tell you how crazy that sounds to me. That is very very disrespectful to the family and friends that are there trying to remember the good times they had with the soldier, not hear a group of folks telling them how they disagree. I cant imagine what i would do if there were protesters at a funeral of a person i knew, i would hit the roof. Theres a time and place for everything and a funeral is not one of them.

I agree 100%. Tin ive been feeling the same way lately. Last weekend i forced myself to go fish and after an hour i got bored quickly and left. Some days i am excited about it and other days i just dont feel like it. Winter has messed up our heads a little bit.Maybe catching a few good ones will hook you again. Good luck on your tourney.

My Mom described something weird in the sky but i thought it was like the time she wanted to bless our house because we "have spirits" in it. The next day on the news a few more people reported seeing the same thing and described i the same way she did........who knows? Me personally i dont.

I work with the mother of this woman who was shot and killed in her dads home. She was pregnant. Her mother has pictures and the newspaper paragraph taped on the wall by every clock in device. At the top it reads something like "donations for a funeral". I know this is an everyday thing now days but i still get angry.
