  1. That fish is a solid 2lbs. Not much more. Anyone that guessed 6lbs and up needs an eye exam.
  2. Hmmmm... didn't know there were rules to "How big a fish must be to mount it". :-X Arkbassguy: Good looking fish. I would guess 7ish. Nobody is bashing "YOUR Mount". Their simply stating that the guy who did the mount could have matched it better to your fish. It's still a great looking mount either way. Keep up the good work Just seems like a waste to kill a fish of that size for a mount.
  3. That fish is definitely in the 5lb range. I would be shocked if that fish weighed only 2.5 lbs. Either way that fish is too small to be mounted.
  4. The Shimano Citica E is smooth as butter, VERY easy to learn with. The Variable Brake system is very helpful for a newbie to learn the basics to baitcasting. You will love the Citica 200E, I can almost guarantee it.
  5. That sucks man, What did they diagnosis you with?
  6. Sounds interesting, any pictures?
  7. 4 Baitcasters (Shimano Curado 300e and 200e, and Shimano Citica 200e, And also an Old Quantum Lite) 3 Spinning (Pfluger Supreme, Pfluger President, Okuma Epixor) I plan to get rid of two of my spinning setups and primarily fish Baitcasters. I will keep one light tackle finesse spinning setup.
  8. Nice Fish.. But for future reference. Any picture of a Bass taken from inside your home is probably gonna draw some bashing. You will get much better responses, if the pictures are taken Lakeside.
  9. Sorry to hear man. I have been through a Bad Motorcycle wreck myself, I know how you feel. Ill pray for you a speedy recovery.
  10. My vote goes to the Curado. I was in Gander last week and played with the Older B series Chronarch, feels about as smooth as the Curado. The Chronarch seems Bulkier than the 200E
  11. Take a look at the St. Croix Mojo Bass rod (Crankbait Rod) I own Both the Mojo and the Compre. I prefer the Mojo.
  12. What state are you fishing? What Lake are you fishing? More information would help to give you some pointers.
  13. The flying lure- This is a great bait for spawning bass
  14. Like mentioned before. The Biggest problem with Shimano reels is once you buy one and use it, you cant stop buying more. I will never own another bait caster other than Shimano.
  15. Nice fish, Congrats.
  16. Thanks guys :) Ill keep the pictures coming as he progresses. I tell you one thing he's hooked on fishing.
  17. Way to go. Your son will remember these trips for a lifetime. Awesome trip
  18. I chose March, But April is a very close 2nd.
  19. Thanks for the reminder. Last year I was actually thinking about doing this but totally forgot.
  20. I plan too. I hope too teach him as much as possible at a young age to make him a stellar Hawg slayer in the future.
  21. You guys crack me up ;D
  22. LOL.. Thanks.
  23. Have you read the description to this SECTION?? " My Fishing Tournament or Outing What worked? What didn't? Ask for advice or just brag like the rest of us!" If you dont like the fact that I blurred out my backgrounds too bad. This section is based upon people coming on to SHOW OFF/BRAG about what there proud of right?? He Shots He Scores. HAHA The real question is if a member was having a really hard time catching fish on that lake, would you help him out by sharing a hot spot with him. Definitely, I would go one step further and offer to take him out and show him first hand.
