Do you keep a journal of your fishing trips?
I never have but i will this year. Fishing is an important part of my life and the more information I have the more I will learn. I will probably never be a professional but I dont need to get paid for something i enjoy.

Thinking about buying a used turnny boat.
tipptruck1 buy the boat you feel comfortable with. Price really is never an issue compared to happiness. Life is way to short for money to stand in the way. Go online and look at maintenance requirements for each boat you plan to buy. If this is the boat you plan on retiring with then dont let cash get in your way. If you plan to sell it in a few years only then would i let pricing get in the way of the smile on your face at the end of the day

This looks like fun!
Crazy vid. goes to show that boats are fun but can be very dangerous

Sit on top kayak or sit in?
friend of mine has the 2nd one only its longer and a 2 seater. We take that when we want to get in tight areas a boat just cant get. We catch a lot on our outings. My only suggestion to you would be to rig a drop anchor for the front and back because it is very difficult to keep the boat still while reeling in a decent sized fish

Want Sponsors?
To me sponsorship is something that needs to be earned, not asked for. I wouldn't even consider requesting sponsorship unless i knew 100% i could produce on the water. Would i like to be sponsored? Sure. But that doesnt excuse the fact that i have NO business experience and certainly I am not KVD material.

Remembering Brian Kershal
What a sad way to go. On the top of his game. I never knew him or of him until i just read those articles on him. God truly had a plan for him way beyond anything anyone could imagine. He lived out a dream before his death and to me that is a wonderful way to live life. goes to show that life is way to short not to take a chance.

Maui
Where are you fishing exactly? What a beautiful background that is. Beer on a boat is bad news. Hope you were careful
