Got hurt on the job. :(
Great advice Sam. Simp, I would start writing everything in a journal. No matter how mundane something may seem, document everything every day. I am in the middle of a horror story with work comp, and that's some of the best advice I could give you. Also, keep your cards close to your vest. And finally, if you are assigned a case manager from work comp, he/she will try to come off as your friend...do NOT trust them for anything. If you are still hurting, do not tell them you're feeling better; if you give an inch, they will take three feet. Good luck buddy, hope you heal soon. 8-)

2010-The Trash is Flying and There's Still No Pennant in Chicago
The chubbies are only a game behind the Crew...not that that's saying much.

Shimano Cumulus 7'1" MHXF
Glad you like it. 8-) I hope they add a few new models as well. A heavier stick for mop jigs would be nice. I have my eye on the 6'10" ML stick for light bass and 'eye duties.

I'm still kicking myself in the arse for drafting Beckett two picks ahead of Ubaldo.

Shimano Cumulus 7'1" MHXF
Yup! I've been out of town, and my new Cumulus made the trip. It's been awhile since I was blown away by a new rod, since the first time I fished a BCR GLX to be exact, and I am happy to say I recently experienced that feeling with my Cumulus. I paired the 7'1"MHXF with a Core 51, spooled it with 10lb Stren fluoro, and tied on a 1/4 Pepper jig/smallie beaver combo...and I'm still grinning. Though nowhere near as fast as a BCR, I found this rod to be as sensitive as a GLX. Opie already posted he felt this, and I definitely concur. Shimano hit a homer with this stick, and I definitely see at least one more Cumulus in my future. If anyone is on the fence with these sticks, screw the new sticks debuting at ICAST, and pick one up. 8-)

Be careful out there guys...you may not be alone
I still don't understand why people are paying to see this flick. That chick is one of the worst actresses I have ever seen in my life.

1/4oz Jig Storage: Falcon 710 > Falcon Wallet?
Has anyone used both of these storage options for 1/4oz swim/weed/arky style jigs? I have the wallet, and as discussed here before, it doesn't do the best job securely holding 1/4oz jigs. I am placing a TW order soon, and am curious if the Falcon 710 jig box does a better job at this task than the wallet? http://www.***.com/Falcon_FTO_710_Jig_Organizer/descpage-FTO710.html Does the Flip Sider boxes trump them both? -Thanks 8-)

What a day for baseball: Edwin Jackson threw a no-no; and The Goon got tossed, so lock-up your Gatorade coolers. http://mlb.mlb.com/news/article.jsp?ymd=20100625&content_id=11577800&vkey=recap&fext=.jsp&c_id=mlb http://mlb.mlb.com/news/article.jsp?ymd=20100625&content_id=11567858&vkey=news_mlb&fext=.jsp&c_id=mlb

Has anyone used "Slurpies" plastic worms, etc?
I know this is a bass board, but those babies are killer on leadheads for 'eyes.

Shimano Cumulus 7'1" MHXF
I've been using a (3) power Dobyns for this presentation, and I want a stick with a tad more power. I figured I'd give a MHXF Shimano a shot. Thanks for the info guys. 8-)

Shimano Cumulus 7'1" MHXF
I've been thinking about taking the plunge on this stick. It's primary application would be casting 1/4oz jigs, and smallie/sweet beaver trailers, in mostly open water. Anyone pull the trigger on this stick?

x2 I have about a half bag left of some Mr Twister curly tails that glow in the dark. Seemed like a ridiculous purchase at the time, but the stupid things actually work. ;D Those things are killer for 'eyes.

Abu Garcias Vendetta rated better than Shimanos Cumulus!!!!
Is anyone using the 7'1" Cumulus for jigs?

nationals game???
Not trying to take anything away from the kid, because it looks like he may have the mental discipline to succeed, but I believe Pitt was hitting .227 as a team.

Funny thing is, that's really how we talk. A brat is not something you spank, it's something you eat.

How to solve the drug problem
Yea, I would enjoy watching that as well. I'm sure the gov has at least a skeleton of laws all ready to go. I'd be curious to see if big tobacco has the changes drawn up to add the production lines, if called upon.

rubber worm types
Yup. I've caught more bass on Powerworms than on any other bait. I really need to get them back on the water.

How to solve the drug problem
In FLORIDA, possession of marijuana under 20 grams in a misdemeanor. Possession of 21 grams up to 25 pounds carries the same penalty, which is a felony. And I'll bet you cant find ANYONE who was sentenced to jail for a year, or even 6 months, who got caught with an ounce of pot and it was their 1st or 2nd offense. Even if this is the case, that doesn't necessarily make them a violent criminal. In my original statement, I was not referring to petty possession. I also wasn't referring to people in the major trade for dirt weed, rather the growers you spoke about. You are correct about the whole THC content thing. I guess what I'm trying to say was touched upon by sqhertz: a lot of states have very stiff marijuana laws. So Joe Pothead who six or seven plants going for his/her stash, as well as his/her friends', will serve time. No, these people are not going to get 25-life, but they are still receiving significant sentences, thus adding to the bloated prison system

More line on one side?
If you still have a problem tomorrow, disengage the clutch and drag a lure back behind the boat...something with some drag. Reel in normally, and that should solve your problem.

What the....How do you...
Quite a few muskie guys I know, who all usually purchase righty reels, have a few lefty reels in their arsenal. The southpaws are on their big jerkbait rods, so when fatigue starts to set in from using a 10" Reef Hawg, they switch over to their lefty setup.
