  1. If your fishing mostly open water, check out a 7' MH XF rod. If your casting to structure, and/or need casting room, a 6'6" MH XF rod would serve you well.
  2. I don't know if your aware, but it is illegal to fish inland bass in WI right now. The inland game fishing season doesn't open until the first Sat in May.
  3. I have the chance to pick up a rod from the above series, delivered, for about $100. It is from the walleye series, but I figure it's the same graphite as in the bass series. I am going to use this rod for bottom contact/feel presentations (lindy rigs, live-bait rigs, and jiggin') Is this rod sensitive enough to warrant buying it for $100?
  4. Pretty good, but I like the Youtube video of the inmates at a Philippines prison doing the 'Thriller' dance better: The 'lady' in white is the best.
  5. EDIT I'm glad I looked back on this, as I meant to say I DO NOT approve of the way she talks to her guests.
  6. I do approve of the way she talks to others. I have to admit though, I tune in at least twice a week, at least since the Caylee Anthony disappearance. I really hope that Casey Anthony spends the rest of her life behind bars. Even that's too good for her.
  7. Leeches on a Lindy Rig. :-X
  8. Me too. I think Tequila Sunrise has been my number one producer over the years.
  9. It can be true for all species of fish. The wind can really pile the bait in pedictable areas of the water.
  10. Big bass-style jigs with large plastics are fun, and are deadly for pike. Big reapers, lizards, shad swimbaits, etc. Large senko baits can be the ticket as well. Large pork trailers on a Silver Minnow has been catching pike for decades. If I'm facing crazy cold front conditions, I'll downsize to typical bass tackle: 3/8-1/2oz spinnerbaits; suspending jerkbaits; 6" shaky worms; etc.
  11. Yes yes. I enjoyed it as well. Though I have to say, when he was with the Crew last year, the guy was a class act and a total workhorse. He carried the team to the playoffs, as our rotation was decimated by injuries. He went the last three or four starts on three days rest, each game, and dominated. But now that he's with the Evil Empire, well I take comfort in the fact he got shelled. Historically CC has never been a great pitcher in April. It usually takes him a month or so to get going.
  12. Ahoy hoy. My family owns a cabin in Waushara county, and I reside in SE Wisco. Welcome to the site!
  13. Man, I hope your right. I can't wait to see GB clean this kid's clock. Cutler tosses up a lot of stupid stuff too. The seasoned GB secondary should have a lot of fun with him. I am going to take this opportunity to hate on Cutler again: he's a douchenozzle. There, I feel a little better.
  14. The Symetre is smooth and solid. It's a great reel, and I'm sure you will be happy with it.
  15. I see the bulbous boozer nose is coming along nicely. Atta boy.
  16. Who did Tampa dump, I couldn't find anything about it?
  17. I made a comment to myself when I read that as well.
  18. This gives me a reason to dislike the Bears even more, as I've disliked that punk since he was drafted.
  19. I can't even fathom a total loss such as the one you experienced. My prayers go out to you and yours.
  20. The last post of his I remember is on the flea market. He was talking about how he kinda got burned by a seller.
  21. Yup. They have a few more as well. Pretty darn funny.
  22. We all pay it's just the terms of the sale that are negotiable. Touche'. ;D
  23. That is too funny. Looks like Vince has seen better days. Is he wearing a hospital gown in his mug shot? I don't understand why anyone would pay for sex. If you're that desperate, just show up at a bar around last call.
  24. God, I love that movie. What a soundtrack!
