  1. Why didn't I see a sign-up sheet for case studies? I woulda liked to have a chance to show them what a carnivore's got.
  2. I don't even know what to say. At least the red will help opposing pitchers with their location. ;D
  3. -Bling bling birch. -Hold my drink while I lick your face.
  4. I smoked menthols for a few years in high-school and one in college. My throat got so cashed that I couldn't take a draw of a menthol with having a coughing/choking fit, but I could take a big draw off of a regular non-filter no prob. Something ain't right there.
  5. $8 for a bottom-contact bait is freakin' nuts.
  6. If I am targeting pike or skis, leaders are a must. Steel, titanium, or heavy fluoro. I have gotten big fish to the boat on light mono, (casting jigs for walleye) but I would not recommend it. Most muskie buzzbaits have a loop in the frame to accommodate a leader's snap. http://www.muskyshop.com/modules/web/index.php/id/1
  7. The selection at the Dick's around here stinks too. They really have just the basics in a lot of lure types. Unfortunately some of the guys that work there are know-it-all ****** too, kinda like 'well, I have 35 Croix rods, what do you have?'.
  8. 1:13 am? You're getting close to that magical block of cable time referred to as, well you get the hint.
  9. I've always wondered about the pro's and con's to that. Like most have said, I too have bought several rods and reels and have been very happy with what I've ended up paying. A few years back I purchased a few Loomis muskie rods for approx $100 a pop. Last fall I won a NIB Fuego caster for $108. The deals are there to be had. Like RayRe said, auctions ending at goofy times usually yield savings to the buyer. A little off topic, but for the life of me I can't believe what people are consistently paying for Lucky Craft baits on ebay. Most are paying full price, some even more.
  10. That would also be acceptable. I'd freakin' love a BCR with no foregrip, and still have the factory warranty. This would be a modest change for them, and a lot of anglers would be super happy. The cork on my 852 is still fairly clean, except for the dark finger sized stain.... :
  11. Great deal on the Bi-You buzz. I've been curious about that bait.
  12. Are you referring to the Plano box that Burley mentioned, the 3714?
  13. The St. Croix LT's are worth a look. They have a spinning drop-shot model too, the LTBS69MLXF. http://www.stcroixrods.com/rods/default2.asp?rodname=52
  14. Way to go Costanza.
  15. I love how your mouth and the words don't sync-up 100%. It reminds me of an old kung fu movie. ;D
  16. Here's an interesting article about Torre ripping into Cashman and A-Knob: http://msn.foxsports.com/mlb/story/9130146?MSNHPHCP&GT1=39002
  17. Yup yup; my mistake. How could I forget about the "Beer that made Milwaukee famous." I still prefer Colt .45. ;D
  18. You're probably thinking about Colt .45. Billy Dee would approve. ;D
  19. That sounds fantastic. I don't know if I could fish every event, because of my back and the fact that I'm still wating for surgery. I'm sure if the word is spread 'they will come.'
  20. If you like split grips go for the Extreme, if you prefer a more traditional rod get the LE's.
  21. The Morrum is a bad mammer-jammer....no doubt. I've always been bummed that the domestic Morrums we only made for righty's. My vote goes to Shimano. I hope the new Chronarch can hang. The old SF is still my favorite reel to date, and I love my TD-Z.
  22. I've always been a big fan of the checkout employees at the Richfield location. Lots of personality and a few cuties there as well.
  23. Ain't that the truth. I bet 1/4 of my tackle purchases on fleabay have been because I couldn't stand to see someone else get the item so cheap. Free bump.
  24. This winter I picked up a few Jewel Pro Spider jigs in PB&J smoke; these babies look saweeeet! I have to wait 'till the 18+ inches of ice melts before I can give them a go.
