Abu Garcia Revo SX or Record
The Record is a rugged round reel meant for bigger baits, heavier line, etc. The SX is a low-profile reel and will palm easier, thus making it a comfortable reel for plastics, topwater, jerkbaits, and any other technique where you may be palming the reel.

Input on a Rod
For around two bills there are a few great options out there. I'd take the Revo over the Flooger, but that's just MO. The Revo STX would make a fine all-around reel. For one that will cover several techniques, I'd go with the 6.4:1 Revo over the high-speed version. The IPT of the former is 27, and should cover most applications really well. Again, JMO. If you are looking for a more finesse-orientated casting reel, the Chronarch Mg can be had for under your stated budget. This would really cover plastics, small to mid spinnerbaits, topwater, and shallow to mid cranks very well. Basically anything but deep-divers, big spinnerbaits, and slop work. If you fish heavier baits/cover most of the time, I'd go with the Revo or Curado E. If not, I'd go with the Chronarch mg. Hope this helps.

Someone help Burley out
He could go over all of the chubbie's opening-day rosters since they last won a championship. That should take him awhile.

Spinning Reel Assembly
J is right, if you can't seem to get it back together properly, send it to the maunfacturer or a service center. There are a lot of people who are pretty savvy at taking apart their bc reels, and they still will not attempt to take apart their spinning reels.

I am wanting to buy a new curado e7 for worm/jig techniques.
When it comes to plastics and jigs, buy the absolute best rod you can afford. What's your budget?

Which reel is better for light crankbaits?
I have a 6'6" M BPS Crankin' Stick, and it works just fine for lighter cranks. I used to fish small shallow runners on this rod quite a bit, and I never had a problem.

Muddy, will you still return my calls?
I'm not sure if this has been posted before, if so I missed it. So I'm paging through my 09' Cabela's Master Fishing catalogue, and I get to the page with their house brand Fish Eagle rods. I remember Muddy, on several occasions, talking about how he is extremely happy with his Fish Eagle rods. Well, you know how they have short testimonials, sent in by customers, throughout the catalogue? The beaming testimony on the Fish Eagle page is signed by a guy name MUDDYMAN in NE Penn. We have a published author on our hands people. ;D

I need a new reel for my LEC68xf
I have a Daiwa Sol on my LEC68MXF, and I'm very happy. I generally use mine for finesse jigs. If you are going to use this rod for plastics/jigs I'd recommend the mg50 you mentioned. A rod so light deserves a mg reel.

Larry Fitzgerald
I can't count the number of times I've changed the channel because I simply couldn't handle listening to Skip Bayless anymore. That guy is a frickin' idiot. X2 I don't know whose worse Skip or Steven A. Smith... I feel like shooting the TV when those two are on together. You couldn't be more right.

-- NASCAR --
Martin's a very talented driver, but what a whiner! His personality keeps me from being much of a fan. How is Martin a whiner? I find him to be very humble. On a related note, when a driver whines and passes the buck, I like to refer to that as the 'Rusty Wallace Syndrome.'

Wow, not a lot of love for Martin here. I am really excited to see him run full-time again. I wish him all the best. I'm just not too thrilled he's running with Hendrick. :-X

Anyone tried this JIG?
He couldn't have. There's no Chatter blade attached! ;D For $8.00 does it come with a bowl of soup? Yea, he did. I remember a year or two back I had a few minutes to waste, so I turned on his show. He was fishing the prototype for this jig. Oh, looks good on you though. ;D
