I received a BBZ-1 in Dirty Shad, a two pack of Jewel Pro Spider jigs (Brown Purple Flash, 5/16), two packs of Canyon Plastics Gitzit tubes (green pumpkin and watermelon candy), a char/white chatterbait, and watermelon/red Horny Toads. Believe it or not, he's not done guys. He still has another package on the way to me. I'll definitely post an update when it arrives Thanks a million Brandon. I'm super happy with the gifts. The BBZ-1 is my first hard swimbait, and I can't wait to get it full of slime.

That's the rod that came to my mind too. Alabama, you definitley want a rod with some backbone for deep-water football jigs. The X-fast, MH Cumaras are meat sticks.

If you fish inshore, you should stay away from the mg Steez and Core. I think the new Chronarch ships next month, it has an aluminum frame that will stand up to the salt.

I've only used the green. I have it on one bc rig for casting spinnerbaits through the grass, as well as slop work. I have it on a few spinning rigs that I use for grubs and jig-worms around grass. In open water I use a fluoro leader with a uni-uni knot. I also use one of the spinning rigs, with leader, to cast jigs/live baits & plastics to inland lake walleye.
