MY TAKE ON COLLEGE FOOTBALL
Oh, you mean like the baseball managers say, my rented Peurto Rican can beat your leased Dominican? I knew that was coming, I thought it would be from Burley ;D Gasp, not the Mets. : ;D

Opening a Fishing Store
Don't forget composition. There are a gross amount of people in the business community who have no idea how to properly construct the written word. Big no-no.

THE PENNANTS ARE "ALMOST" IN VIEW AND THE TRASH IS FLYING- 2008
Don't worry it wont continue like that. Here is the Met's projected average runs a game by month.... May.....9 June...7 July....5 August...3 September...1 October....N/A Told you so.... ;D Speaking of older posts, I seem to remember a 50 Trick Stick bet between Burley and Muddy; something about the Mets not winning their division. Advantage Burley.

I could think of a few reasons, and that list would start with the 'greatest fans in the world.' :

GOODBYE OLD FRIEND
I still don't understand why they are retiring both NY stadiums in the same year. Those two storied buildings shouldn't have to share the spotlight, they deserve equal time. The closing of Yankee stadium has outshadowed Shea this year, and that is nowhere even remotely close to fair.

Is a flippin' switch just a gimmick??
The one time they are useful is when fishing bottom bouncers, and heavy weight forward spinners for walleye.

Your welcome, least we could do since last week, head to head WE OWNED YOU!!!!!!!! I see you got your older brother's to settle things for you Well, looks like we might pay you back today. Sheets didn't get out of the third. I have no idea why they pitched him, elbow and all. His fastball was around 88, with a few in the 90's. :-?

The most overrated, crappy band on the planet?
He had one good song. Something about a family member flying away on a plane. The title is on the tip of my tongue... 'Rocket Man' I can't stand EJ either.

The most overrated, crappy band on the planet?
That's beacase the lead singer died of a drug overdose soon after they started to blow up.

THE PENNANTS ARE "ALMOST" IN VIEW AND THE TRASH IS FLYING- 2008
It's not over yet. Heck, the Mets wouldn't be tied for first in the wild card if the Crew didn't do some major choking of their own this month. Still anybody's game....but I like our chances.

I need some new lures!
Hahahah actually, it seems this has happened! lol Everything i throw out there i never get anything which has happened the last 2 times i went fishing, which means to me i get to buy new lures! haha Honestly it's probably the rod & reel. Or if you are shore fishing it is definitely that you need to get a boat. ;D Really it could be the rod and reel? I mean i only have one rod i use but i was looking into getting a couple more like one for my spinnerbaits one for buzzbaits then one to put a snap swivel on to use all my crankbaits. Me and my friend are just assuming its the location haha I have been told that snap swivles ruin the action of crankbaits. I don't know for sure because I never use them. You might want to look into this. I used to be snap-swivel shy, until I caught my PR walleye on a #10 Husky Jerk, 8lb mono, and a snap-swivel. This specific lake is not known for hoss walleye, so she was old and savvy, but the snap-swivel didn't stop her from biting.

I need some new lures!
If you're going to spend more than $10 on one lure for fall fishing, make it a LC Pointer.

Good mid level spinnerbait rod?
I know it's over your stated budget, but for $20 more you could pick up a Powell. A lot of our forum members love their Powells. http://www.powellco.com/

BPS Power Plus Rods
I can't comment on the rod, but there is only one rational solution to a student on a beer budget: malt liquor. A few 40's and tall boys won't break the bank, but will give you one heck of a night. Give the rods a shot. Can't go wrong for twenty bones. I still use an old BPS Crankin' stick on a pretty regular basis. Talk about bang for your buck.

Kistler Rod Owners need Info
I just bought my first Helium yesterday, an 08' He76HC. I'm freakin' stoked. I've had my eye on this baby for a few years now. I really can't afford it, as I still have some Halloween props to buy for the yard, but I found a deal and couldn't pass it up. 8-)

THE PENNANTS ARE "ALMOST" IN VIEW AND THE TRASH IS FLYING- 2008
I knew what I was gonna see before I even opened the thread. ;D That obvious eh? I was at Miller Park for the Brewer game Wed night, and I think I was watching the scoreboard more than the game on the field, and the cute brunette two rows away. Watching CC pitch was a real treat. Eleven K's in seven innings. He was throwing a lot of off-speed stuff ( he's on three days rest for the second straight game, and will pitch again this weekend), but struck quite a few batters out with some well placed heaters. You know your pitcher is throwing a ton off off-speed stuff when his change-up is a 96mph fastball. I saw him once last season as an Indian @ Miller Park. Cleveland was getting a buttload of rain in April, so they moved a series to Milwaukee. All seats were $10. Last night was my first, and probably last, chance to see him pitch in the good land. I can't afford those October tix, just bought a new LTA.
