  12. have any of you guys ever put a revo winch 5.4:1 gear set in a patriarch 6.4:1. thinking about ordering a set of gears and was going to see if anyone has tried it yet thanks james
  13. there should be bass in them, watch out for gators also. if it was me i would bring a spinning rod setup with a weightless trick worm, or a shaky head setup (3/16 or 1/4 oz.) if you fish the trick worm weightless try white, if you go to the shaky head go with watermelon seed red flake or green pumpkin are usually a good place to start
  14. has anyone ever fallen out of the boat in hydrilla. I fish a lake that is full of the stuff and i looked into it the other day and wondered how easy it would be to swim out of ? just a thought
  15. Watch the weather and be very careful the lake will get very rough in the wind real quick ( have seen 8 ft. swells)
  16. I am going to install a 12v motorguide wireless motor to the bow of my boat. My question is do i wire the trolling motor battery to the cranking battery in parallel or leave it on a seperate circuit. I was thinking to leave the motor on a seperate circut and put the fishfinder/gps on the same circut or should i put the ff/gps on the cranking circut? Thanks
  17. i know the parabolic is for crankbaits, i have always liked a medium action rod fast tipped for worms. figured i would ask before i bought 3 of em thanks guys
