  1. go with the lowe, they are great boats. the 50 hp 2 stroke merc is a tough little motor you will get around 35 mph out of it.
  2. i gre up less than 10 minutes from there, try a 6 or 9 inch paddletail worm in junebug color, on a 2/0 ewg hook in the holes and edges of the grass( fish it sloooow) , in the mornings you can burn a shallow crank over the top of the grass like a manns -1 good luck ( ever fish robinson)

  4. make a template of the cupholder compartment out of cardboard and cut you a 3/4 inch thick peice of plywood to fit and mount the screen to it and then you can hide the wires under the wood. works great for me
  5. try smooth-on they have alot of choices of clear casting resins
  6. lived here all my life and it is always good. what lakes will you be fishing mostly?
  7. fish back of coves and boat docks in the afternoon with shad colored crankbaits, jig and pig and spinnerbait (what ever color you are confident in). give this a try and if all else fails get the soft plastics out

  10. Get you some caolina keepers from bass pro or your local tackle shop. It eliminates the need for a swivel and you only have to have one knot instead of 3. i like them because all you have to do to adjust leader length is a pair of pliers.

    My favorite tube is tube x by vertical lures, the best colors for me are june bug, watermelon seed and black w/ blue flake. I rig them texas style with a 3/0 ewg gamakatsu hook. james
  13. prob has the best rod and storage system i have ever seen in a boat

  15. the one i use for deer is: 8oz worcestershire sauce 8oz soy sauce 2tbsp lawrys seasoning salt 2tbsp spicy mustard 1tbsp honey 3lb meat soak 12-24 hrs then i smoke it for 8hrs with pecan and charcoal
  16. i used to use standard jig heads until i came across a lure called jig x it is by far the best jig on the market totall weedless design like no other.

I have fished a new lake for about 3 months now (10 trips) and i can t seem to get a handle on the fish in the lake the lake is about 180 acres, max depth is about 20 feet and there is alot of hydrilla in the lake, probably 65 % of the the lake is covered with the stuff. any suggestions as to what you may try. thanks in advance
