7'8" + Length Deep Crank Rod?
It's all good, I knew where you were going.

Invizx For Jerkbaits?
Pffft! Lip service, LOL. I prefer CXX for jerkbaits. 10# works fine, and gives you enough diameter for abrasion insurance. It seems to not drag the bait under, or maess with the action too much. My buddy uses Triple Fish fluoro with his jerkbaits. He has no issues with getting bit, LOL. He believes that in clear water it helps because the fish get a long look at the bait. He won't use a snap for the same reason. I always ask him how hooks fit into that theory, but he just laughs, and catches.

Yep, I was.

Swimbait Techniiques?
I fish Hudds like a football jig. It would really help if you said what swimbaits you were using.

Double Rigged Fluke
I use the same line as I'm spooled with, 12# P-Line CXX. A 7' MH/F casting rod works fine.

Match The Hatch
That's basically it. I've never caught a bass below the thermocline. Back to another point; I was rereading the In-Fisherman Largemouth book last night, and it parroted my description of how largemouth feed. Except they called it opportunistic, LOL. <facepalm> So, I guess whatever you want to label it as is fine, so long as you understand the biology.

Warrantee Or No Warrantee
I didn't make up the "reel for masses," LOL. They did. Powell's aren't all over the place here, but I see quite a few of them. I believe Susquehanna Tackle sells Powell, and a ton of NY guys get their tackle there. Keep in mind too, they are west coast operation, more known for fly gear.

Do you? Never heard of kneel and reel for depth?

Brown Trout Tactics
Don't mess with trout on redds, they really won't bite and it's too easy to snag them. You'll see two huddled up next to eachother in extremely shallow riffles with a clean gravel bottom. Sometimes so shallow, their dorsal surface is out of the water.

Jigs For Mass?
LOL, what a dummy I am. I was going to suggest a pinch on lead belly weigh!

Match The Hatch
I would hesitate to make any assumption about the feeding behavior of pet bass in an aquarium relating to fish in the wild. Fish in the wild are limited by food and water quality. They have unlimited resources in the aquarium, and quickly learn to use the tank structure itself to their advantage. Quite simply, the gorge because they can. I am not saying that a bass won't seize an opportunity to eat, if an easy meal is presented. What I am saying is that isn't the norm. Opportunities for unlimited feeding occur seldom in the wild, and we can see that as well, typically pre spawn and late fall. The rest of the time, they wait in ambush to feed. Why else would they be so predictable to the avid angler?

Alabama Rig
LOL, live baiting with a Zebco. No thanks, I was over that before I turned 10.

7'8" + Length Deep Crank Rod?
It's basically the same length of cast, but with SLIGHTLY less effort with a longer rod. Most of the longer rods I've tried have terrible balance, and cause fatigue after an hour or so.

Warrantee Or No Warrantee
Sorry man, that makes ZERO sense, or their marketing team has gone bonkers! From the article: It doesn't take a genius to figure out how a rod designed for the masses that is hard to find would be a failure. These rods are obviously meant to entice buyers from a lower budget to spend on a Powell.

Using A Cork For Spawners?
Used to catch a lot of bass on beds using a float while crappie fishing back when we had a closed bass season. Other methods work as well, so no need to resort to it.

7'8" + Length Deep Crank Rod?
Then you should think about something other than glass. All the glass deep cranking rods I've tried are heavy. I'm not sure why you are married to 7'8", that seems weird. I use an Avid AVC70MHM for deep cranking. I don't feel like I need a longer rod to make long casts, and it's plenty light.

Match The Hatch
Trout are extremely opportunistic, it's forced on them due to their dynamic lotic environment. They are nomadic creatures in constant search of food in a high calorie environment. Trout eat what is there, when it is there. That's why hatches are so important to understand when you fish for trout. When there is a hatch on, that's all they are keyed on - show them something that represents a copy of the millions of others, and if you can present it right in front of them, you'll get bit. By contrast, bass are homebodies. They sit on structure, and wait, until the bait comes to them, when they are hungry. The very opposite of opportunistic.

Warrantee Or No Warrantee
Here's another thing I thought of. They risking their reputation on this. There will be a lot of people that will buy this rod, simply because it's below $100. These are people that would NEVER spend more than that, maybe people that only spend $40 on rods. They break one, and their impression of higher end gear is bad. I think this could present a PR issue.

The Fish Are Adapting To Feeding At A Buffet Table.
Are you nuts, or just pulling our legs? Nutrients don't have to come from sewage. If anything there is too much nutrients in the water, encouraging light blocking algae growth. It's coming from fertilizers. All those cottages with plush green lawns. Isn't it odd that two of our local drinking water supply lakes have some of the BEST weedlines I have ever seen. The fishing is pretty incredible, too. You can bet, they aren't pumping sewage in there. And there isn't any cottages either. In fact, anything other than incidental human contact with the water is forbidden. Go figure.
