Opinions On Mislabeling
Dick's deeply discounts stuff all the time. I wouldn't assume it's a mistake. Most of the time, the register rings up cheaper than marked there anyway, LOL. Many times I've asked, "Is this deal for real?" and got the reply, "If it's marked that way, that's what it is."

Not conducive = not possible. Well, anything is possible, but with a Ride, you fall off before it rolls.

Moving Water
You get weird things like that on big lakes. Heck, the outlet on Port Bay had alternating current a couple weeks back.

Fishing Term?
I'm more familiar with the term "feeder creek," living on Lake Ontario. The names are just colloquialisms, and unless you have the actual context of what is being described, you really can't define it. Here's a "feeder creek" or tributary. Irondequoit Creek flows into Irondequoit Bay, which in turn flows into Lake Ontario. There is a man made channel at the north end of the bay, but I don't really think of this as a "feeder channel." http://maps.google.com/maps?hl=en&ll=43.174434,-77.525754&spn=0.011658,0.027466&t=h&z=16&vpsrc=6

Trouble With Fluoro
Short leash, drag set too tight for 10# line. Up the line diameter, change brands, set the drag to 1/3 break strength of the line, or get a net.

Which Is Bigger
I like the 2nd pose better, though. It's the way I've been posing many of my fish as well.

Fishing Term?
I don't think this is what most would consider a feeder channel in bass fishing. Neat image and explanation, though.

Power Loading
I thought that was what they meant - is there another power loading? It only takes about 1/4 throttle to get the boat to shimmy up that last foot.

Ascend 12' Sot Kayak
Get some seat time in both, and you'll see the difference. Other differences you won't see are thinner plastic, especially at the keel, which wears out quickly. All of that is moot, if it's what you can afford now, and it gets you out on the water. They aren't bad at all for the money.

Power Loading
I know a ramp that if you don't powerload, you'll get lectured by the harbormaster, LOL.

Jerk Bait Rod
I use an Avid AC62MXF with a Alphas and a AVC68MXF with a sol for jerkbaits, topwaters, and even spinnerbaits. You don't really need to sensitive a rod for this, just one that's comfortable, and a fast tip that recovers quickly after twitching.

White Treble Hooks?
I bet there are at least a few fish that are turned off by ANY hooks. There was a study done way back in the 30s that showed bass quickly learned to refuse night-crawlers impaled on a hook, but took them readily without. Grain of salt - this was done in a lab. But some of that probably carries over into the wilds. If it happens 100% in the lab, then a few will do it in the wild.

Real Swimbaits Vs Paddletails
LOL, I love cranking, and swimbaits - paddle or not - but I agree 100%. The jig is just a really easy tool to get into bigger fish. Now the biggest fish...I defer to Matt, Randall, etc.

Lure Retreiver?
Jigs, I leave behind. I'm not disturbing a good laydown for a $3 jig.
