Alphas It'o oops...updated
And as far as "pro" goes.....if I did that to a reel, you would be darn sure I'd be sourcing a replacement for that reel. Period. "Pro" sometimes means more than adequate skills.

Just do what .RM. said, and report back. Water droplets stain the frame of that particular reel, so its never perfect anyway. Oiling the metal is the only cure.

There is no "school." I'd' trust Mike (DVT) with my reels. I'd trust .RM. with my reels. Anyone else that I'd trust with my gear only does it as a hobby.

Anyone know of bait or tackle shops for sale
My buddy looked into this. Basically, it takes half a million to really do this right, and give the corporation a fighting chance to succeed. Businesses don't run themselves, either. I hope you have a natural business acumen, or have some business education under your belt. So much of running a business has NOTHING to do with what you're selling.

CITICA UPGRADE or WINCH
You should be comparing IPT first. Bearing upgrades, drag washers, etc. do not alter gear ratio, which is a big difference here.

Wow, "send it to a pro" never sounded more important.

Name this bait
if you were smart you would have dusted it right when I put it up, I have been so busy I probably would have forgot all about it lol Its all good, LOL. Bonus advertising for you. Besides, they don't know my spots. (Quiet ww2, they're actually Noel's spots, and I'm sworn to secrecy )

Aquarium-ists?
I don't currently have any tanks, but worked in the tropical fish industry for ten years. Importing, wholesale, selling and installing custom tanks... My absolute favorite reef tank was my little 15 gal. micro. Ran it for 5 years or so, and cultured quite a few inverts in it.

The J Francho Hates Me For Bringing Three Pages Of Attention To This Bait Shad. Has a catchy ring to it, LMAO.

Name this bait
"Knock it Off" is my final answer. I really don't want this bait publicized, and its a copy, so it works! ;D Nice pours, BTW.

Name this bait
Wow! Guys, he's looking to name a bait he's selling, not the color, not what the original name is......LOL.

Name this bait
"Knock It Off!" LOL. Seriously, "Smallie Crack" would work.

symetre vs symetre fj??
One is front drag, the other rear. I prefer front drag reels.

When to use loop knots
Pretty much never. I'd have to consult a guide to even tie it at this point.

any WNY
As long as there is flow, and its not chocolate milk, there's biting fish. problem is, there's just as good fishing closer to home. With gas prices the way they are, I'm less willing to make the milk run from Burt to Oswego like I used to, LOL. Man, we were nuts - like 8 tribs in one day!
-
any WNY
No, last winter. I've only been out twice this season. Once in fall for browns, and once around the holidays for steel.

any WNY
Oak? Sure. There's no fish in the creek. 8-)

super tuning?
And you might never lose a fish.....but eventually you WILL smoke a pinion gear.

Anyone use swivels or snaps?
I had a #2 Duo Loc open up on me. The teeth of this fish actually crushed the snap. Other than that, no failures with a Duo Loc.

Kayak Fishing
You have to get seat time in a boat, on the water, before you can really decide whether its for you. This is a "gateway boat." Its cheap, works, and gets you on the water. Something from Wilderness Systems, Ocean Kayaks, Hobie, Native, etc. are better boats, but cost more. I recommend buying a unrigged boat, and rig it yourself. Lots can be done. As far as which boat to get, you have to decide what type of fishing you do most, and where you'll be fishing. River boats are different than lake boats. Here's my big water boat: Here's a pre rigged boat from Moken, that has a wheel built in for easy launching: This boat was designed with fly fisherman in mind. The outriggers retract for normal paddling: Some guys adapt sit in models to fishing, as well:

Anyone use swivels or snaps?
Slide a small ring slice of tube over the R-bend on the spinner/buzzbait, and then use a snap. Its an old time pike and muskie fisherman's trick.
