  1. I clean out every year, probably trim about 30 lbs. of stuff....thing is, I replace it with something new I learned, LOL. You can have your cake, and eat it too. Look at all the stuff I bring, LOL:
  2. I bet they will now!
  3. You can find more reasons in this review - one I thought was pretty well done, especially in the comparison dept.: http://www.bassresource.com/bass_fishing_forums/YaBB.pl?num=1300294621 As for me, I have about 3,000 yards of Power Pro left, so I won't be switching anytime soon, but that doesn't keep from trying new stuff. For the OP, Power Pro is fine.
  4. Good deal. Get it exchanged ASAP, though.
  5. You have to play it by ear. Sure, throw something different, but if he's nailing them, then you need to get your share as well - so tie on that bait! Often, I did well looking to stick fish the boater missed, or drop shotting the deep side. Just open your spool, and feed the drift some line to leave you bait in place. Don't let it run out too far, though.
  6. Spinning reel engineering varies drastically from manufacturer to manufacturer, and even model to model from the same company. About the only things any two have in common, is removing the spool, and removing the handle, and even that has variations, LOL. They are just too complicated.
  7. No, but these, many BPS, and Pure Fishing brands probably come from the same place.
  8. I've actually made more than 100 posts before re-posting these links! :D ;D Alberto knot is THE ONLY way to go. http://www.stripersonline.com/Pages/Articles/article_arby_albertos_knot.shtml
  9. Weird, you can't do the reel trade in on Shimano here.
  10. Well keep the passion to a dull roar, LOL.
  11. Why anyone would want to get into a forum argument over dudes that can't iterate their thoughts well, squabbling over billions of dollars is beyond me. The ice can't melt quick enough, I guess. Keep it civil guys.
  12. We already have a topic going. Keep it cool, guys. http://www.bassresource.com/bass_fishing_forums/YaBB.pl?num=1300239379
  13. J Francho replied to Sam's topic in Everything Else
Keep it clean, guys. Kids read this forum, ....like mine.
  14. There's no such thing as a good spool of Fluoroclear, LOL. Its nothing like CXX. Big game will do, its stretchy, though.
  15. Future use of the word "dystopianesque" will be heavily moderated, LOL. ;D
  16. Geothermal heating....current....who knows. I've got 3/4 open water on bays off the big lake. Not sure what the Finger Lakes are doing.
  17. RAM mounts is where you want to look
  18. One of the nicest upgrades you can do for the Calcuttas and Cardiffs is put a Curado 200E series handle and knobs on it. Its relatively cheap, and SOOOO much nicer. Looks pimp, too
  19. Relevance?
  20. Thanks Marty!
