  1. Yeah, this was hashed out over a year ago, but its an interesting topic. I REALLY think the author had ulterior motives on this one. Paul, NAFC......really? Sorry, blech!
  2. The only thing that matters to the fish is that it isn't out of the water too long, and it isn't further injured going back in. Everything else is about perception.
  3. [movedhere] General Bass Fishing Forum [move by] J Francho.
  4. That sucks. KVD L&L would prevented the stain. In the meantime, a Mr. Clean Magic Eraser will get rid of the stain. Then hit the cork with U-40 cork sealer.
  5. What did I say about Al Gore posts? See Ya!
  6. Now that is a surprise. I like the looks of this reel better, and I've always liked smaller knobs for bass fishing, and the reel is like $150 less than the domestic certate. Its just still too much for me, but I'm glad someone snagged one - they are very well built.
  7. Works fine for that. I use mine for jigs and t-rigs.
  8. Get a handful of Scumfrogs.
  9. I thought domestic Certates were around $400.
  10. I drove some of these pros around in a limo for a buddies business when the Ryder cup was here. They were mostly OK, but preoccupied. I was actually asking about Kevin, not Tiger.
  11. That's what you get using a not so smart phone.
  12. I got one in my hand, and the black is blacker than one philso posted - more contrast between black and brown. In the two years I've been using them, the only bad bag of beavers I bought didn't say Reaction Innovations on it. Every bag (probably in the dozens by now) has been good.
  13. http://delawarevalleytackle.com/ DVT helps BassResource exist by sponsorship. Mike is a solid guy. There is a discount for Bass Resource members. I think Mike charges less than $20.
  14. Gwar is awesome.
  15. I'd be curious about the specifics of what he did that led you to that opinion. My uncle won a round of golf with Tiger through Nike a couple years ago. His handlers had a million rules for their day with what they referred to as "the talent." Basically, don't touch him, LOL.
  16. Brown and black swirl with green and red flake. Never mention this color on the internet again. It doesn't work, LOL. Seriously though, TW does their own photography for that very reason - pics are not always accurate. You can usually trust their shots over anything else.
  17. A little too rich for my blood, especially for a spinner. Its very pretty, though: http://www.***.com/Daiwa_Certate_Vintage_Custom_Spinning_Reels/descpage-DCVS.html
  18. Good luck just walking into that $17/hr. job with no experience. Unless you're family. :-/ Saint Croix Avid AVS63MLXF, Shimano Stradic CI4, 6# InvisX. Love that rig.
  19. A mud buddy would be cool. There's a guy that hits one of my creeks with one. Loud as hell, but he gets his jon in places that only kayaks can go.
  20. I'd tinker with a transom mount trolling motor and battery. Would take me all of 5 minutes to tinker. The rest of the time, I'd be fishing
  21. That rod would be great for flicking light unweighted plastics under docks.
  22. You have some good advice hidden right there. Crankbaits. As a kid, I primarily fished cranks. One $5 Rebel craw could catch me 100s of smallies.
  23. Doesn't look anything like an X-rap. Sort of a suspending trap, but with a realistic profile.
  24. Yeah, Shimano, Daiwa, and Pinnacle have all taken care of me in similar situations.
