  1. Off Topic Warning! Not always true, lol. From my home town.. http://spectrumlocalnews.com/nys/rochester/crime-safety/2018/05/07/lamborghini-driver-flees-scene-after-crashing-into-fire-hydrant
  2. Most models max out at 300 or 325 lbs. capacity. Their least expensive kayak is $470, so yeah, used for sure. He's definitely going to travel light for this to work. Might be better to look at the used market in a little higher end boats. I sold my Prowler Big Game for $400, max weight cap. was like 650 lbs.
  3. Any more negative remarks will have repercussions. It's absolutely ridiculous how some in our community behave from behind a keyboard. We're better than that.
  4. This works well for me too. You might need to carefully pull the off line the spool, and pack more tightly when spooling up. Sounds like the line is digging into itself.
  5. I think he's a shallow water/run & gun type of angler. There's a few articles out there. You might poke around In~Fisherman's site.
  6. Get well soon!
  7. Everything you need to know about it, from the master: http://www.richz.com/fishing/articles/dropshot.html
  8. https://postimages.org/ Copy and paste the direct link.
  9. Can you log into the other account?
  10. Yeah, that's a tough one.
  11. Agreed, just pointing out that it's not in parallel. Personally, I've seen or heard of such thing, but I've only had two boats with 24v set ups.
  12. I like Owner ST-36 and VMC Vanadium Inlines for most treble hook baits. Anything else will be an Owner Cutting Point.
  13. You won't be able to delete an account. Let me know what the other screen name is, and I'll merge it with this account.
  14. You want to save money? Buy wire tied jigs, or learn how. I have jigs that are years old. Those rubber bands barely last a season.
  15. He still has the jumper at the plug.
  16. Yeah, that was gonna be my question as well. A 2" is actually gonna make it worse if it's the trailer/toon scraping. James, can you possibly back in at an acute angle, and then straighten it out once your past the spot that scrapes? You want to be on the road perfectly level, so make sure you have that right.
  17. My 6:1 Stradic CI4 2500 takes up 35" of per turn, or MORE than your typical 7:1 baitcaster. Some larger spool spinning reels can take 40+" per turn. It's all IPT, not ratio.
  18. Hmmm. They have it in several locations here, though these are huge stores.
  19. I will argue that you might miss/lose more fish with a cheaper rod. If the destination is catching a fish, then the analogy fails.
  20. We don't rotate them at all. Sometimes if you upload from an iPhone, they get spun. Previewing in the Windows photo app, and rotating them there fixes it.
  21. I don't get the car comparison anymore. It's not a point A to point B thing. More expensive tackle is incrementally better, to a point. That point is a tiny bit north of the OP's budget. After that, then it's more about style and luxury.
  22. No, But DSG and Field & Stream carry Carhartt. Maybe there's a location near you?
  23. Original, in other words pretty large. PostImages resizes automatically. Then I just copy and paste the "Direct Link."
  24. Two strong guys pushing a cart isn't going to go faster than one guy pushing a cart.
  25. No, I'm way better looking than Ike.
