  1. You're on top of GB in the division....due to a GB divisional loss to your Lions in week 3. I'd say you look pretty good, at least more than a prayer's chance anyway.
  2. Let's go, Noel! Looks perfect!
  3. I'm a long time Power Pro user, but I've been using Tuf-Line products for over a year now, side by side, and they are pretty good.
  4. Plenty of threads on this topic already. Senko vs. anything threads are no buena.
  5. I'll have to try it, though for 90% of bearings, Bantam oil works the nuts.
  6. Make a compound butter with it. Best melts ever.
  7. I guess my point is that braid is over engineered - they all work fine, for the most part. That's one of the more expensive brands.
  8. It's like fine wine. Gets better with age. It also cures baldness.
  9. I feast upon the souls of my tournament competition, er...I mean, I like beef jerky.
  10. It would probably be fine in 50# diameters. Persoanlly, I'd rather something like Power Pro, Tuf Line Tournament 8, or 832 for that kind of money.
  11. I gues I'm wrong about it - now it's the aerosol can version of ReelX. I have an older bottle of what is labeled CorrosionX, but is sold as ReelX now. I like it for roller bearings, and saltwater applications, where speed isn't not the biggest demand. Dawn at Smooth Drags carries it, along with the TSI.
  12. The only time I let a bait sit that long is when it's tossed off the backside of the boat, while I fish something else. Toss the rod in the holder, and let the boat move the bait. Actually picked this up kayak fishing, but it works from any craft. I know at least one smallie hunter that does the same thing. If the rod is in my hands, I'm only good for about a 15-Mississippi count, lol.
  13. Never mind water, or storing them in your tackle box, leaving them out in the air, or heaven forbid in a fish's mouth.... Nothing more maddening than a screwed up skirt or one that simply falls off because the rubber band is shot.
  14. I have a couple Jr. models. I really like them - deadly on prespawn smallies on Oneida when the wakers aren't enough to wake them up.
  15. A list of products I use and trust: Shimano Star Drag Grease Cal's Drag Grease Cal's Light Grease Shimano Bantam Oil Oust Metol Rocket Fuel Yellow Daiwa Blue Oil TSI 321 CorrosionX
  16. Is it a crack in the Flexcoat? I would NOT put epoxy on it if that is so. If it gets worse, have a rod builder replace the wraps and Flexcoat. As long as the guide is firmly put, it should be fine.
  17. The best stuff I've found, hands down. And I've tried them all.
  18. No sweat about the name, lol. It's actually "Franchot", and the T is not silent. Most call me, "Frayn -koh" anyway. I'll have to look up the Abuholics.
  19. I get the low mass deal, what I was wondering was the how, or where the parts came from. Your friend have a business, or resale? Just curious - you can PM me if you'd prefer.
  20. Snow is here, and temps are supposed to drop into the low teens by tomorrow night. Yee-Haww!!!!!
  21. Production jigs with rubber band skirts? No thank you. Siebert Outdoors Supreme Series offers wire tied by hand jigs for less than the Terminator. Northstar are just a couple quarters more. For the record, I tried a TON of Terminator "football heads" and no other jig excelled at getting stuck in rocks and zebes. I will say, the lighter green and browns are a dead ringer for a goby, with the weird eyes. I don't mean to sound like I'm pimping (okay, I do, lol), but there's a lot of you guys out there tossing off the shelf jigs thinking a custom jig is too much $$$ - not true! Add in the fact that the skirts last at least 10x as long, being wire tied, and you'll see what I mean. There's really only one production jig I'll throw anymore, and that's also wire tied. That jig's days are numbered, though.
  22. I love this, can you provide more detail?
  23. There's a YUM drop shot bait coming out that looks pretty sweet......
