  1. This thread is in the first grade!
  2. Making room for these? OP, 230 lbs. max capacity is way too little for two people, let alone decking the boat out.
  3. First, I think your estimate may grossly overload the boat. What brand/model? What is the beam? You might actually be able to deck it if it's 4' wide at the bottom. I just feel like 10' is way too small. 12' is the minimum for a kayak, to me. I wouldn't consider a jon boat under 15'. For reference to specs, here is a Lowe 10' jon: https://www.loweboats.com/hunt-fish/jon/tiller/l1032-jon.html Max weight is 275 lbs.
  4. Deep lakes have TONS of current too.
  5. Not too many of these in my natural lakes I kid... I've fished where there road beds, stone walls, and even foundations of buildings and dwellings. Ditches to me have always been the depression along side the roadbed.
  6. Snitches get stitches and end up in ditches.
  7. ^10 current events: 0
  8. Back down in the teens and getting snow tonight.
  9. It was almost 60 yesterday. Thinking about opening the pool…
  10. I'll be honest, if I get another GM truck, it will not have the Z71. Too much wheel hop, and the ride sucks no matter the tire selection. With Cooper Adventurer A/T it's a very capable truck in all snow, rain, or mud conditions, though.
  11. You can't until you become an established member. There's restrictions in place for new members to prevent scammers.
  12. They probably assume that the upscale model buyers want ride comfort over utility. I'm not surprised. There was some sporty package deal when I bought my truck that featured 22" rims with low profile summer tires. Looked pretty dumb to me, but I don't even like trucks, so maybe my taste is off. If you want a sport car, get a sports car. If you need a truck, get a truck. Don't try to merge the two, lol.
  13. I use the same tackle whether fishing from shore, a boat, or a kayak.
  14. If you get the Z71 package you get the horrible riding Goodyear truck tires.
  15. This is not a good entry point to baitcasting. I'd stick with heavier line and heavier baits when learning.
  16. ^11ty-thousand.
  17. Having chicken Sammy from McD's right now.
  18. It's in my bottom range, lol. I'd prefer something around 70 for top speed. I don't want to be sucking fuel at WOT going 40 mph. I'd rather sip fuel at 40% throttle doing 40 mph.
  19. I like everything about it except the front deck. The cushion snaps are junk.
  20. Fat slows the uptake of carbs. Some fats are very good for you.
  21. No. This temple wasn't built on salads. BTW, that PB&J and fruit is loaded with carbs, and not as healthy as you think it is, but if you're doing hard manual labor is a decent choice to keep your energy up.
  22. ^8 for the costumes
  23. That's a giant speck!
