Swimbait Line Help
I use 20 and 25# CXX treated regularly with KVD L&L for bigger swimbaits. No issues here.

Loss of Pflueger BCs?
Mine never did, and I don't see how it could. I can think of a ton of other reasons I don't like the reel, but this is not one of them.

Loss of Pflueger BCs?
Not really, they've basically been rebranded Abus for years it seems. I realize they're all from Doyo, but to me Floogers were gold trimmed Abus. You can probably get the same user experience switching to Abu. As far as your AR switch goes, you can try Okuma. I have a couple and they work very well.

Another vote for Mattlures. They can be hard to get ahold of sometimes.

Getting rid of GAMEY taste in killed animals & Fish.
I think this is extremely important. I also think that there are some myths. Different animals taste...different. A Cornish game hen doesn't taste like a chicken, and neither does a goose taste like a duck. Squirrel will NEVER taste good to me. Everybody up here loves their Friday Haddock fish fry. Hate to spoil it for you, but that mild, white, flakey meat comes from a bottom feeder. How something as delicious as northern pike can come from such a slimy, stinky, miserable animal is beyond me. I don't think you can make any broad statements about where an animal lives or what it eats and link it to flavor. There are probably many situations where one factor or another affects flavor, however. There's also the deal where some animals simply taste gamey or fishy by nature. Closing thought: Why? Gamey Slimy Skinny Stinky No consistency in spelling, lol.

Ardent Reel Care
Not sure what the point would be - just rinse them.

Ardent Reel Care
It's 50% purified mineral spirits and the rest is lubricating and penetrating oils with corrosion resistance. It's not meant for lubing reels, though it won't hurt anything. I like to keep it around for squeaky hinges and crayon stains.

Ever spray Armorall on your steering wheel? That's WD-40 on a reel, lol.

Ardent Reel Care
TSI and ReelX bond to the metal rather than coat it for better protection. I will also use a heavier (Penn) grease on SW gear. As always, a GENTLE rinse in freshwater right after every salt trip is a good plan.

Poison ivy
Ugh. Last time I had it, ended up in the ER.

Ardent Reel Care
Both very good choices in my experience.

Ardent Reel Care
Did not meet my standards. There's plenty of threads on this topic, but Acetone for bearings with a final soak of fine grade alcohol, Simple Green or Perfect Solution for degreasing, and Cal's or Shimano Star Grease for gears and Cal's Purple for lighter applications. You might Consider using CorrosionX or ReelX to protect exposed line roller bearings for salt.

I'm on Sprint/T-mobile. 5G coverage is great in my area. No complaints.- KastKing Speed Demon Deadbolt
Somewhere I have an old Daiwa that had a backreel switch. It was from the late 80s or very early 90s.- Double uni knot v. FG knot
That is fancy for braided line.- Double uni knot v. FG knot
I use an Alberto knot.- Why are rod/reel sales numbers kept quiet?
Combined sales of Chevy Silverado and GMC Sierra are higher than Ford, lol.- Would You Fish Out This? Could You?
LOL- Narrowing down rod selection
They are very good rods that offer good value for the money. I have six or seven of them, as well as a bunch of Saint Croix, G. Loomis, and a few other brands. I haven't tried any of the other brands you listed.- Pros and Multiple rods
Goodness, what are you guys so worried about how someone else fishes? You'd think we'd all act like brothers and sisters - all into fishing, but no. There's always someone that feels they have to pass some judgement. It's a little dumb if you ask me.- How Often Should You Replace Baitcasting Reel Bearings?
Good to know, thanks! - Any T-Mobile Users In Our Community?
