  1. Presque Isle Bay is a pretty awesome spot.
  2. Mine is in this video. It's a preproduction demo of an Avid AC62MXF built in 2000. I've had the handle repaired twice by Saint Croix. It's the very best topwater rod I've ever used.
  3. This is the only thing that I've seen that actually works.
  4. So sorry for your loss.
  5. I haven't hear anything, but you should be good to go with prespawn patterns.
  6. Ha! My default is 3/32 oz, so that sounds about right.
  7. 7-1 on a Flick Shake
  8. That's awesome, @Tim Kelly!!! I love SML.
  9. This.
  10. Open an incognito window.
  11. Are there pickerel in that lake? That what this sounds like.
  12. I don't see any record of it. It might have writes out. Try again.
  13. I guess that would depend on your latitude and water temps.
  14. It's kind of funny how everyone knows the EXACT weight of a fish they lost.
  15. I get it now - it's a problem that doesn't exist. Thanks for clarifying. Carry on.
  16. Like I said, I understand it's a thing, but it's not a thing affecting the hookset efficacy. I've been kayak fishing since 2004 - it's not the problem. You need to fix your hookset.
  17. The point is that your solution is fixing a problem that doesn't exist, and may make the issue worse.
  18. You can test this easily. Have a friend hold a crankbait while in the water, and you set the hook. Report back about your trip to the hospital to remove hooks from you're not friend anymore's hand. In other words, while a fish may move you around, you aren't missing hooksets because of it.
  19. I fish legit senkos skewered on a hook like a savage.
  20. I'm more than pleased with my Hobie Compass Mirage Drive.
  21. I have a 5 and a 7, and the 5 is plenty.
