Future Of The Curado
I hear a total realignment in the line up is in the works. They will restore balance to the Force, lol.

Does Paint Condition Really Matter When Fishing Cranks?
The only issue I could see if there was a chip in a balsa bait, exposing raw wood. I'd seal that up. eOtherwise, when you're on, you're on. Here's two of my favorite "swimmers"

Possible New Wr Brown Trout
Once again, weird circumstances surrounding a huge fish. Just like the triploid rainbows in Canada. Personally, I don't care how it got that big (actually, I do think it's interesting), what matters is that someone hooked and got that tank in. Congrats to the angler!

Smallmouth Vs. Largemouth
Here's another shot of that fish:

An Accidental Discovery
I'll show you a catastrophic failure when I get home tonight. And it's not a cheap reel.

Going To Purchase A New Boat.
Cajuns were good hulls. As long as its all straight, you should be good. Dull gel coat and crazing is pretty formal for boats that age. Gel coat repair is very expansive. Don't ask me how I know.

Empty Spools?
Pondboss, why would you want to twist your line in the first place?

Smallmouth Vs. Largemouth
I've definitely caught smallmouth on Texas rigged ribbon tail worms.

Smallmouth Vs. Largemouth
Most of the differences in fishing specific baits for either has more to do with habitat. I would no rather fish a slow sinking senko in 30+ FOW than I would want to fish a jigging spoon under shallow docks.

Empty Spools?
You can't just wrap it, you have to reel it up, by spinning the spool. Otherwise, you'll introduce tons of line twist.

What's The Word With The Dean Rojas/alton Jones Beef?
Three guys found the same fish. That sucks, but it happens. There should have been some discussion, but for whatever reason, there wasn't. I don't think it affected the outcome of the tournament.

Drop Shotting?
Big fish are often about location. They don't follow the typical "rules" we all read about.
-
Empty Spools?
It's easier just getting an older "junk" reel with a deep spool. Check ebay.

It has base maps, like every other GPS, and a slot for Navionics or Hot Maps chips.

Current Lews Bb1 Pic Request
This is semantics, but I'd argue that spring loaded brakes are atypical. Historically speaking, spring loaded brake shoes in reels are a newer feature, though they seem to be popping up more and more on the Lew's, Pure Fishing, and BPS reels. Traditionally, the shoes are free floating on a shaft. So, in theory, if you're used to braking systems on reels like Shimano or old Lew's (many were made by Shimano) then use the blue. That said, I have no idea what settings work best since I don't own the reel. I'd wager Mr. Fritz only uses the blue brakes. It's pretty cool that both are there. Reels are getting more and more complex these days.
