Rapala Bx Minnow..... Crank Or Jerk
It's a floater, so you can crank it, or twitch it. The Originals always worked well cranking, then pause and let it rise. Then twitch at the top, let it sit, and repeat the process.

Action For Spinnerbait Rod
Moderate action crankbait rods work well throwing a spinnerbait, but if you want to hook and catch fish, then you want an X-fast action rod.

Solid Hookset Then It Is Gone??
I think Tom hit the nail on the head. I know I've posted this link a lot lately, but it might help you: http://www.bassresource.com/fishing/dropshot-bedding-bass.html

Pfds/ Life Jackets
I don't know about the rest of you, but I always have three standard PFDs in my boat's dry storage. That way, there's never a question if I get stopped.

That was my point, we have different vests, with different technology. HIT relies on water pressure to trigger, while yours has a dissolving bobbin. As far as yearly testing goes, I guess you'd just be testing for leaks.

Frog Rods
As long as I'm not in nasty slop, it works fine. If it gets any nastier, I use my flipping stick.

That is not the HIT hydrostatic model. That uses a dissolving bobbin. This is the HIT rearming kit: http://www.basspro.com/Mustang-Survival-Inflatable-Life-Jacket-Rearming-Kit-Model-MA7218/product/72461/ Here is what yours looks like, inflated: And the story: http://plan-b.smugmug.com/Family/Fishing-Journal/i-8tHfw2r/0/L/20100328-MendonPonds-05-L.jpg

Are These Bass Beds?
It's something I've been using for a few years now, and it works. I think some bass begin to respond negatively to the plop of a lure near their nest. This gives them time to forget about the plop. Glad you liked it!

What Is Your Favorite Lure For Covering Water And Searching?
Depends on the temps, depth, and cover. Traps, diving cranks (all depths), spinnerbaits, buzzbaits, and topwater walk the dog are great tools.

Main Power Switch/battery ??
I have one on my boat. That is correct about placement. Put it in a convenient location, or you won't use it. You'll want it close to the batteries, rather run some fairly heavy gauge wire all over your boat.

State Vs State - Episode 5
Shimmy, you know I will be on top of any questionable post. It's for fun anyway. Last year, I caught a 80 percenter outside the time limits. It's all good. We know who the big fish guys are.

It would be way to much to maintain. The search function is so good on this software now, that it isn't hard to find what you need.

Pre-Rapala Wiggle Warts
Storm was acquired by Rapala some years ago. While they use the original molds, the plastic is different, making the action and sounds different.
