Boat Wheelie ~
I know...that stunt driving is nuts. No life jacket, probably no kill switch. What I don't get is how the props don't cavitate trimmed out so much.

Jesus, dude. What can I do to help? Text me anytime.

Show your ride...
Not necessarily. You do have to actually "drive" a fast boat. My 21' Bullet doesn't chine walk until you're over 80, and even then, once you know how to drive it, you don't get any.

Umbrella Rig?
Guys, this isn't about whether you like the rig, or if you think it's cheating. I only want to know about dock talk at tournaments or any documented tournament results with the rig. Up here in NY, I haven't heard ANYTHING about it since last fall, when my friends Burnie and Mike were tearing it up with one on Oneida. I don't think it's the gill net that the Elites painted it to be. I think it's a spring/fall tool.

On The Rocks
They actually work well around wood, provided it's enough of a brush guard. The head hits the wood, and does a little "kickout" like an arkie head.

Something They Haven't Seen
I'll vouch for the wacky jig. It's won a few bucks. The fish in my avatar came on one. Also, a senko or other heavy worm wacky rigged on a drop shot rig with a long dropper works well. You're basically expediting the bait through unproductive water column. Once the weight hits bottom, give the bait slack of it's natural sink rate. Lift, repeat.

Banjo Minnow!
From the Forum Rules and FAQs: I have a question about the Kicktail, Banjo Minnow, Doug Hannon Snake, Walking Worm lures, or the North American Fishing club Do a search on the name. There's plenty of posts about it, which will answer your question.

Umbrella Rig?
Since the Elites have banned it, we can't really see if this has been a year round silver bullet. I'd like to hear from guys in local clubs what kind of results, if any, you are seeing with this bait. To date for the NY trails I follow, I have not heard of a single event won or even a top 10 finisher utilizing the umbrella rig. Curious what everybody else is witnessing/hearing at their local weigh-ins or via dock talk so far regarding the umbrella... is it the be all end all lure that people thought it would be... or is it just another tool that has a time and place?

What Do You Prefer For A Jerkbait Rod?
Sniper style spinnerbaits, walking top waters, light jig/worm. I use an Alphas which is 5.8:1.

What Do You Prefer For A Jerkbait Rod?
I prefer medium power and x-fast tip. Tip recovery is important to me for subtle twitches. The medium power flexes under a full fish load and protects the hooks from tearing.
