  1. Another I listen to frequently, in fact it's part of a practice routine I use for drums. A lot off off balance odd times and a good stamina builder.
  2. There's a few, the eponymous one, Birthday Concert (live), Invitation, Punk Jazz, and another one or two I can't remember.
  3. I use a 6-3 rod for this. About the only thing I like a longer spinning rod for is grubs and senkos.
  4. The original Sweet Beaver and Ugly Otter are my favorites. The beaver more for penetrating weeds, and the otter for gliding through pockets.
  5. Night Passage has the best lineup...Zawinal, Shorter, Thomas, Jaco, Erskine.
  6. If you can cut it off at the bend, why not try to push the point back through and cut that off, and remove the hook altogether? I've done that a couple times.
  7. Get a Thule. The fit kits are specifically designed for your model car.
  8. Rig it yourself the way you want it. Do yourself a favor and mock up any new riggings and take her for a paddle before drilling any holes.

  10. Funny, but not as funny as this one:
  11. I use a Freedomhawk 12 UL and a Ocean Kayak Big Game Prowler: There's a ton of others out there that stand, Wildy Commander and Ride are two more good boats.
  12. ALWAYS remove the hook. All it will do is make it difficult or impossible for the fish to eat. It won't rust out, there's no magic stomach juice that dissolves it, so you have to remove it. Use the link above to get the hook out quickly. More often than not, it's the time out of the water that kills the fish, not the dehooking. If the fish dies, take it home and eat it.
  13. I have that rod. The 6-6 is only about an inch and a half longer from the reel seat. It'll work fine for what you want, though 1/2 oz. is pushing the upper limits.
  14. I doubt the brakes on anything you've used is like the Iron's. It's just a two shoe centrifugal brake, like the old Abus.
  15. I have $1M liability on my Bullet for $220. That's for the year.
  16. Probably something as simple as a breakdown.
  17. I carry at least two dozen in my little Xpress. The new boat has two lockers....that means MORE room!
  18. Part of what makes fishing fun is learning new things. If I had to do the same thing to catch fish as I did in 1986, I'd stick a fork in my ear. Seriously. Keep in mind, "new" is a relative term. A Mann's Jelly Worm, Texas rigged with a bullet weight might be a new thing to some. Nothing wrong in that. Keep learning, keep trying new stuff.
  19. The Iron series just make a humming noise. I have an old IR3, and i]t hums. I think it's just the brakes.
  20. No sarcasm implied. Distance has NOTHING to do with catching. Work on your accuracy. People are trying to help you, try to be a little more open listen to the advice.
