  1. I see as it a generational thing. I would never consider it. I would simply pull over if it was absolutely necessary to respond. But yet I have been with some younger guys who were driving and pulling a boat when they do text. Makes me very uncomfortable .
  2. Guess they should have named it Bliss.
  3. Have you never heard the adage " there is no stupid question" Opps.
  4. Congrats on your new PB. Beautiful fish.
  5. Outstanding picture Chris.
  6. For many who travel, often the best food is a truck stop. I wonder what the waitress would have to say if someone actually ordered their breakfast as this guy did? : TRUCKER'S BREAKFAST - It's coffee (honest!) A trucker came into a Truck Stop Cafe and placed his order. He said “I want three flat tires, a pair of headlights and a pair of running boards.” The brand new blonde waitress, not wanting to appear stupid, went to the kitchen and said to the cook, 'This guy out there just ordered three flat tires, a pair of headlights and a pair of running boards. What does he think this place is, an auto parts store?' 'No,' the cook said. 'Three flat tires means three pancakes; a pair of headlights is two eggs sunny side up; and a pair of running boards is 2 slices of crisp bacon!’ 'Oh... OK!' said the blonde. She thought about it for a moment, and then spooned up a bowl of beans and gave it to the customer. The trucker asked, 'What are the beans for, Blondie?' She replied, 'Well, I thought while you were waiting for the flat tires, headlights and running boards, you might as well gas up! (FOR ONCE, THE BLONDE GETS EVEN!!!!!)
  7. I have been using them for a long time. They work really well for pike & lake trout on a jig. Met Harold Endsley on a plane coming back from Canada. He mentioned he was the originator or had a patent for their design. All white & all black colors are my favorite.
  8. I'm glad those are your rods & not mine.
  9. J those big lakers will be also.
  10. I'm way behind last years numbers over 5lbs.
  11. I don't think it was all luck based on your recent Florida vacation experience. You had two dd bass & several 7's, 6's & 5's. You know how to find them.
  12. Reverse it by taking it off then you will have the 6lb tied to the spool & can fish with the 15lb. You will have to reload it twice so the 6lb comes off first. Use another reel or an empty spool to load it on.
  13. Here you go. Should be tail up. http://www.ragetail.com/news/rigging-info/
  14. Danforth anchor with chain & plenty of rope.
  15. I know of a guy in PA who is fishing for them. Also a guy in VT.
  16. Shimano built that reel as a trolling reel. Any shimano reel that starts with the letter T in the name was built as a trolling reel. All the casting reels names start with the letter C. You can cast with it but it was designed to be used for trolling use.
  17. Now that ain't no bull! Sweet catch Lee.
  18. It's not about the pelvic bone structure differential but its all about the jaw bone.
  19. Us older guys are either more neurotic or more organized but we do have a plan.
  20. My two favorite jig colors are white and black with some color variation of each. White works good all season for me. So does black.
  21. For me the most exciting fishing you can experience is topwater. It's all about the approaching wake or explosion and seeing the bite. Cool times. My second favorite fishing is the jerkbait. Anticipating the bite just before it happens is really fun.
