  1. Mark just have the new stuff shipped to me and then she will never find out. I'll give it all back when I see you.
  2. You guys are too funny. Reely.
  3. I have seen guys travel over a thousand miles to a flyin lake in northern Canada and skunked for a day. It happens to all of us. It should help your overall game plan. Rethink your approach and consider if the problem is you or the fish just don't want to feed. Once you become successful it is just that more sweet .
  4. I save the boxes to store the paperwork, spare oil, brakes, spare spools & factory tools. I have used the boxes for shipping for reel repair inside of another box. Just helps keep things organized. When I want to sell the reel I have the all the original stuff the reel came with from the factory for the buyer who gives a crap.
  5. Obviously it worked very well for you over the years.
  6. My best day largemouth fishing was five fish over 43lbs down at Lake baccarac in Mexico. Didn't get any double digits that day but I was knocking on the door. I lost one that juumped at the boat that would have increased that total if I had landed her. My best day smallie fishing was five fish over 30lbs on Lake Erie prespawn. I also lost a big fish that day that jumped 6-7 times so I got a real good look at her. She would have been the biggest fish of the day. As A-Jay would say fun times.
  7. Nice bass Bob. If you get the chance try an Avid or Legend elite or extreme in the same (7' MHF) You will notice a difference.
  8. Pretty sweet haul. Well done sir.
  9. What you are not addressing is one punch and she is out. He might have hit her continuously had she not fallen unconsious. You do not not know what his behavior was are might have been. I don't disrespect your premise just think you are wrong about what he might have done if he had not knocked her unconscious.
  10. I totally understand what you are saying. But Ray had no reason to hit her again because she was unconscious. His dragging her out of the elevator showed he had no remorse. If she had managed to continue to fight back would Ray have hit her again? I don't see the difference between what he did versus someone else besting a woman black & blue.
  11. PB's are sweet but they are meant to be broken. Congrats.
  12. Ray Rice hit her hard enough that he could have killed her. Not to mention her head hitting the railing in the elevator as she was falling. That could have been a manslaugther charge. A highly conditioned athlete of his size hitting a woman with a closed fist. Ray is 5' 8" tall and weighs 212lbs. I understand your contention that there are different level of abuse. But because of Rays size & conditioning his abuse is deadly force. Not good.
  13. At $3000 to $3500 you can't lose based on your description.
  14. Mexican bass with an attitude.
  15. Hair jigs work well with artificial trailers and live bait or just plain.
  16. Punishment with a wooden spoon, wooden paddle, tree switch or leather belt was very common when I was a kid. I remember my mother wacking me with a wooden kitchen spoon and it broke. I just smiled until she told me my father would be charge of all punishment thereafter. It all comes down to the severity of the whacks or blows. A few welts on the buttocks was not unheard of but multiple welts like in the pictures suggests a parent out of control & looks like abuse to most people. It has yet to be determine who caused those welts. Time will tell.
  17. Imagine the personal satisfaction when you outfish your guide from the back of the boat. Now that's a challenge.
  18. Yes. Water is still at 72 degrees.
  19. Glad to have you as part of the botherhood.
  20. Outstanding. Keep em coming. And congratulations on your shared blessing.
  21. Sweet. Very nice bass.
  22. There is the answer. Reels can go with you as carry on. Larger hooks must be in checked bags only. Now what does TSA consider large hooks? The usual bureaucratic nonsense.
  23. You are lucky she saw it. Imagine it crawling into your bed or getting up in the middle of the night & stepping on it on your way to the bathroom. Sam's suggestion about checking for point of entry is a good idea.
