  1. Here are a couple of rainbow trout spinner baits I just finished. I am finally happy with the color combos for the skirt. I will trying them out tomorrow morning.
  2. Thanks for the replies guys
  3. Some of them come out pretty good, and others come out pretty bad looking. I think I need a better brush for applying, what brush do you use Cadman.
  4. What is the easiest way to paint spinnerbait heads. I have been using a paint brush to tap the powder paint onto the head. Using the same method to add multiple colors to it. Is there an easier way, I seem to be getting too much paint onto them.
  5. 5lb 1oz smallie caught on an *** 4 inch trick stick.
  6. It has been slow fishing for the last week. I have been using mostly soft plastics, jigs, and spinnerbaits for the last month. I finally started using some crankbaits, and on the 3rd cast ever with this crankbait Buzzcatcher painted I caught this one, 3lb 3oz smallie. I caught several more smaller ones on it too. Big difference from being skunked yesterday in the morning and evening both.

used them last year weightless and caught quite a few fish.

I get them from ***. I rig them with a shaky head.
  9. Thanks for the comments. The boat doesn't leave very often without the kids, especially the little one behind the steering wheel.
  10. It was a slow day. We caught 4 fish. The first pic is one of the 2 we caught on a cavitron buzzbait, both fish were equal in size. Not really time yet for good topwater, I can't wait. The next fish was the big one for today, a 3lb 8oz smallie caught on a 4 inch *** from *.
  11. Just bought a new rod yesterday or I would be on this. The wife is not going to let me buy another one today.
  12. I am not sure what it was, but I think they call them blow snakes around here. TT, that looks like a big snake. What kind is it?
  13. My 9 year old took this picture while we were camping. I never actually saw it. He found many snakes and took pictures every chance he got.
  14. I use brown paper bag
  15. Congrats Dwight! I am with Dwight, I will be posting smallies, not really a LM fishery close to me.
  16. The water was very clear, which helped sight fishing these fish on beds. Caught most on a T-rigged craw tube from *, but the 5lber wouldn't take it, so I got her on a 4in *** from *. My oldest couldn't wait to reel in those fish so he could get a pic and turn them loose. It was a fun 2 hours.
  17. Pretty good b-day presents aren't they :)
  18. Her is another upgrade caught today for my b-day. 5.06/9.72=52.06
  19. Went out for a couple of hours this afternoon before I had to get ready for work. It was a good b-day present with the biggest at 5lbs 1oz. Was out with the wife and kids. Caught 12 fish, all on *.
  20. Yeah, I thought they would go more, but that is all my scale said they were. The biggest being 3lb 14oz, 3lb 8oz, and many being 3lbs.
  21. Here are some of my oldest kid.
  22. Here is a sample of what we caught this weekend. It was fun, most fish were at or above 3lbs.
  23. Here is a small upgrade. 3.88lbs/State Record 9.72lbs=39.92
  24. Be safe over there, and thanks for what you are doing!!
  25. You will have to have 2 separate stickers, but only one of the new one to be put on the left side of the boat next to the registration sticker. It is like buying a federal waterfowl stamp, you just buy a sticker and put it on the boat, not specific to any registration numbers. The only place to get the stamp is in Boise, or online. There has not been any publicizing of the stcker either. I was talking to one of the marine deputies here the other night, and he did not know about the sticker yet. It is a $57 fine if you don't have one.
