I just bought some at Michaels today, then went to a hobby store who sold the bottles for $0.60 a bottle cheaper. Neither place had much of a selection of colors. both places 50 miles away, only place I have seen the createx "close" to me.

That is the way I see it too. I keep a bunch of different types in different colors in my boat too, some may only come out once if at all in year, but it is nice to have the options on days with tough bites.

I bought my carpet and glue from Cabela's. It was the less expensive than other places I found online, and they were having the free shipping. I bought 2 of the gallon size glue, opened the second one just as I was laying the last piece of carpet.

Thanks for the comments, I am not color coordinated, so when I chose a dark green carpet my wife put a veto to it and so I went with the dark gray.

here are some pics of my boat. Just got the recarpeting done. I also added a RAM mount for the fish finder on the bow. I wish I had done some before pics. The carpet was coming off real bad and looked awful.

My dad used to go up there fishing, he would always fly fish there. I don't think he has been there in quite some time.

I made some football head jigs in 1/8oz with same hook for the 1/4oz for my uncle who wanted a really slow fall rate, of course I have some for me.

I use Plano 3700's in the boat, and peg board in my shop.

I have been out on this pond 4 days since Saturday, and we have caught a bunch. Have released a lot of small fish, and kept a few bigger ones to bring home, have even cooked up some out on the ice. Here a re a couple pics from today and yesterday. My 4 year old keeps catching the biggest each day.

We have been getting warm weather, the pond I have have been fishing on the last few days won't last much longer. the other place I fish had 16 inches of ice last friday.

Went today and caught a lot of fish. I released about 12 fish, fried up a couple while on the ice, and brought these home.

I have not had any problems with center of gravity. It does not tip easy. I can use the top for an extra table, and yes that is lunch in there, a ribeye steak. Thanks for the comments.

where i have been fishing is covered with snow, 20 minutes from my house. here most of the snow has melted. the ice is very very clear, 6-8 inches compared to 16 inches at the other lake. my boys really enjoyed fishing here.

Here is a pic of my youngest with one he caught. We got 6 all together. My Nieces are in the other pics with my boys.

I made this sled for transporting everything I need out on the ice. It has rod holders I made in it. The box comes off the bottom so I can attach it on the back rack of my 4 wheeler and not have to pull a sled when I go somewhere I can use the 4 wheeler. Today I fished at place where 4 wheelers are not allowed, even though the ice is 16 inches thick.

Real good clear ice, and temps back in the teens.

The lake where I am fishing has 14 inches of ice.

went again today, from 0800 till 1800. 10 hours on the ice and only caught 1 about a pound. Missed 3 and had one other hit. I was first on and last off the ice today. Sunrise til dark.

We had a short amount of time to fish and caught this one.

I am going out as soon as my kid gets home from school. Hopefully we can get one nice trout.
