I have never fished AF Reservoir for bass. Looks like I should. I will be at Lake Walcott all weekend.

I started using them last year (I get mine from *). They have caught a lot of fish for me. They caught fish when the usual fish catching stuff would not work. If you start using them you will see what the deal is. I use the o-rings, helps the bait last longer.

I was at Lake Walcott Monday and the water temp was 52 degrees. I did not stay long but caught a 2lb 5oz and a 3lb 8oz. Thursday I am heading out there again camping till Tuesday. Hopefully I can get into the bigger ones.

Finally I am on the board, the pic is not great, I was by myself and took a bunch trying to get a good one, here is the best one. my fish 3.5# state record is 9.72# score is 36.01

I have caught them right below American Falls Dam, The river has some really nice ones in between American Falls and Walcott. I have not fished for smallies above American Falls. West of american Falls around Massacre Rocks is supposed to be good fishing too, I have not fished there yet, I hope to this year. There is supposed to be some bass in American Falls Reservoir too, hopefully someone from around Pocatello can answer. I live between Minidoka Dam (Lake Walcott) and Milner Dam.

That time period is on my week off, I haven't fished for bass in Utah, but I do have several good smallie fishing spots within 20 minutes of my house.

I am 2 hours away from Logan, if you want to catch some Idaho smallies.

There is a lot of water flowing down the river right now. They may increase the flow more soon. We might have flows like we did in 1997 when we had flooding here along the river.

Yep, that is a turtle. I caught it on the Muddy River while catfishing when I went down to Fish Lake Mead last month.
