Muddy I agree that the economy is not in the best of shape. Personally I think it is going to get a little worse before it gets better. The question that I have is do you feel that traditional indicators are as accurate given that we are now in more of a global economy? I have only dablled a little in this area and you seem to have a pretty good knowledge.

I agree 100 percent. So now we're going to disparage the character of everyone who deletes their profile just because the site is programmed to display "ex-member" next to their name. Contrary to what some of you may think, there are awesome people in this world who aren't members of bassresource.com and I'm sure there are people who have deleted their profiles who are decent people as well. I don't think we should perpetuate this "ex-member" stereotype any longer. I also agree 100 percent. Besides it is not a very effective way to send a message to anyone. Just like in life if you delete your profile others may have a reaction but life goes on.

That's American! It's things like that that no matter what at the end of the day I still have hope for our country.

Great stories and perspective. You show great respect to your lost loved ones. I didn't get to fish much with my Grandfather because he had a stroke when I was young. He did however give my father a love for the outdoors that was passed on to me and even though he could not participate he was always very supportive.
