  1. x2. Bass often inhale a lure and then spit it out quickly, set the hook before they spit it. Even if you set the hook too early the fish will often get excited and eat it again. x3. Hooksets are free.

  6. The thing is the people that keep the bass are going to keep them and those of us that release them are going to release them. I don't think there is going to be a large shift in opinion either way. For me I agree with Brokejw.
  7. Oroville is April 19th. No I didn't get a limit but felt pretty good because of the wind and the fact it was only my 2nd time on the lake. I am looking forward to getting Oroville done because then the rest of my Tournaments 2 on the Delta and 2 at Clearlake.
  8. Just got back from my first 08 Tournament at Lake Berryessa. Wind was crazy and had a hard time controling the Tracker. Managed 2nd place finish in my division and top 30 overall out of 93 boats. On to Lake Oroville.
