yeah here is 1.67 I think this morning. I wont fill up till KC then I'll fill it all the way to the gas cap on the way home. ;D

gas took a 20 cent jump here. its starting to talk a fall again today I noticed. :-? I agree with some of you guys. We still need to develop alternative fuels.

I can put up with it for awhile but when you start playing the crap in October it gets kinda old by christmas. I could easily deal with it for 2 weeks. I think this is the reason I dont go to stores that often from Oct-Jan.

This however has nothing to do with our need for an aggressive energy policy which increases domestic production and reduces our dependence on foreign oil. Energy independence is a matter of national security and the key to long-term economic prosperity. I completely agree with that. In a time like this I belive it is the best time to start. IMO just like the depression. The government just step in and start doing big projects and loans for Nuclear and other powers. That will provide jobs and a jumpstart for the economy. JMHO.

RW, if they cut production enough where gas gets back up to $3 a gallon and we are still in a recession do you think it would make us get closer to a depression. It seems the price of oil and economic growth go hand in hand.

6 of one and 1/2 dozen of the other. Pick the one you like. They are so close it really doesnt matter. They both kill whitetail effectively.

The stock market really makes no sense to me. One day its 300-400 favorable the next it is down 600points. Drives me crazy.

Thanks Tyrius. Sounds like they are investing just like me and you. Just alot larger amount. In reality if citi turns it around and becomes a productive company the Gov could actually make some money. Maybe they would put it toward the national debt. ;D

Is there a way to calculate what the average price of gas to price of oil should be? Say 50 per barrel would be 1.50 for gas. Is there any way to do this?
