I'm with avid on this. Businesses go out of business for mostly one reason. Bad management. Why is the government bailing out these businesses. I honestly dont understand. The put the housing industry pretty much where it is IMO for bad loans so dont they deserve to go out. Someone will step in and take up the slack. I guess I'm tired of seeing bad business being saved by my money.

Wow, we are very oil dependent. With our dependency I would have thought there would have been more.

I use brass for crigs mostly. Every once in a while I'll use them for t rig for the reason above. I rarely use lead on t rig or crigs anymore.

How many refineries do we have?

Gas futures are currently down 16.76 cents to 260.20. The wholesale market is all screwed up now due to the hurricane, but prices should start coming down because there doesn't appear to be significant damage to the refineries. What I dont understand is why we base our refineries close to a threat like hurricanes. Also this wouldnt be good if the US ever came under attack. I see it as shootin ourselves in the foot. Infrastructure is a strong point and something like gas we shouldnt have as vulnerable.
