with my latest post in My outings of what I think is a mean mouth I've been doing alot of research. I found this link that has bass spicies on it. The thing I can not find is pictures of differences. I can find the pics of telling large, spots, and smallies apart but nothing with a mean mouth. So I'm asking for some help. That is one thing that has me baffled on this. I did catch a smallie about 20 min latter. it had the stripes of a typical smallie. But the biggest difference I noticed between the 2 fish was the mouth. The mouth on the fish pictured was bigger then a typical smallie mouth. When closed it was pretty even with the eye of the fish.

dang that didnt take long. You guys think smallies fight. Sheesh nothing compared to these mean mouths. They just dont give up.

This is the first big one of these I have ever caught. it was a bout 3-3.5lbs. Meanest bass I ever caught. Can you guess what it is? Its not as obvious as it seems. Sorry for me not looking wide awake. I caught this bass at midnight last night

ah crap, I didnt explain it correctly. The water is squeezing between the pipe and concrete from the outside when it rains real hard. I need to seal the gap that is between the pipe and concrete drilled into the foundation with something so the water wont keep coming in when it rains hard.

Howdy guys, I need some help. Where my copper water pipe comes into my house in the basement is leaking around the pipe. The filler the used years ago has rotted away or non existant. I am going to dig out around the pipe and seal it. My question is what would be the best material to seal it with? Also do you guys think it would be a good idea to dig below the pipe a foot or so and fill it in with a bunch of gravel to keep the water off the pipe after fixing it?

Oh so very true. Dont just hold that to smallie fishing though. Only takes seconds to retie, and only takes a second to lose a PB.

that guy must be on big water. There are waves on the waves. :-? You can see the big ocean like rolls with littler waves on top of them. Been there done that dont like it at all. The landing sucks and hurts. Either it gets to my back or I land on my :-X, Its a tough decision which to let hit. Yowsers.

I agree 100 percent with you. The skirt pads from barlows, stamina, etc are a ton better.

back in 93 alot of Crystal City was flooded and some of Festus. So far nothing but it isnt here yet. The local creeks, rivers are up but have been for awhile since all the rain last weeks

car pooling is one of the best solutions for now. Buy a more fuel efficient car. Future is alternative fuel. Solar power. Never happen though. Cant tax it and cant sell it. Its freeeeeee. Same way as with the water engine. Water is to cheap. Till we get congress men/women with big kahonees and say forget you all were going alternative fuel. The price will just keep going up. The oil industry is a legalized monopoly. The ones that line the law makers pockets wont ever have laws against them.

true tungsten is awsome stuff. I found a store that was clearing them out or had some samples. Dont know for sure but I paid 10 cents a weight, and jighead. I bought everything they had. cost me about 3 bucks for about 10-15 dollars worth of jigheads and weights. Even some 1.5oz carolina rig weights. These things are awsome. Nothing I have fished with even compare

few good tips Keep the fish in the water You will lose good fish when they start jumping around (all lures) Low streach line my favorite is 15lb flourocarbon quick solid hookset RW style Med/hvy-hvy 7' rod I prefer heavy. Keep a tight line, if you allow slack the fish will indeed throw it I've seen fish just hold the lure this is where the good hookset and heavier rod comes into play.

I'd rather have fewer properly placed quality bearings then 10 elcrapo's.

I do believe that UFC guys are tougher then any of the other ones. It does depend on the fighter though. You cant take a submission fighter and put him in a boxing ring. Because of their toughness he would do better then taking a boxer and putting him in a UFC fight against the same guy. Lidel probably could box and have a good career doing it. His fit more for UFC though. No boxing poeple want to pay big bucks to see lidel hit a guy once and then go home like UFC.

I do not tolerate tresspassers. They are going to jail. They know its wrong when they jump the fence. Not only is it tresspassing its just plain wrong. Just ask the people that own it alot of time they dont care.

Situation: Lake faces north to south. lake size 70 acres approx Lake is long and skinny. A boat with 3-4 people were sitting on anchor crappie fishing front of the boat facing south. They were bank beating. So as I was motoring down south to north I stopped and fell off plane approx 100 yds before I reached them and idled at no wake 1k rpms closer to them. I stopped probably 50-60yds before I reached them dropped the trolling motor. Still behind them about 30-40yds toward deep water I proceeded to go north since they were facing and fishing to the south. I looked at it as fishing already fished water. I reached down to pick up a rod a and see a bobber splash about 10 yds from my boat and one of the guys glaring at me. I didnt say anything because its not worth it. I just proceeded to use the trolling motor and go about 40-50 yds north where I was headed and started slaying the fish. Was I at fault here?

I am the tackle making junky. LOL, That poison is awsome. best jig I've ever used. Just wish they made it without the eyes and gill plates. I have no use for that. Harshman is right on when he said use a skirt collar to cut the barb off. It works great. I have found though on some jig head styles if you cut to much the head becomes kind of loose. Probably never make a difference.

Speers was my favorite. That is one crazy SOB But yes, imo it is my favorite war movie series. #2 would probably be saving private ryan. The history/military channel is what I miss most about not having cable anymore. Usually wouldnt change the channel off them.
