  1. Out here the Duck hunting has been killer this year. Tons of birds. Were shooting limits pretty much every time we go out.
  2. Here is my thought. Do the bass use the structure and cover like a deer? Don't Deer use cover and structure in a defensive manor for concealment to avoid preditors? Or, are bass more like the Mountain Lion that stalks and intercepts the deer at vulnerable ambush points? Both use the structure and cover to their advantage. But for slightly different reasons. So is it better to think like the hunter or the hunted? Or maybe both?
  3. I agree with most of what has been suggested. One thing not mentioned are the hooks. If you are using stock hooks they are crap in many cases. They are either dull and don't allow for good penetration or bend out easy.
  4. 31 U.S.C is the designated US code section for Tax Regulations and Administration of The U.S. Treasury Departments Operations. A close review of 31 U.S.C will disclose that the Internal Revenue Service, a Private Corporation, is not shown as a division, bureau or any part of the U.S. Treasury Department. All of this can be looked up at firstgov.com. 31 U.S.C chapter 3 does not list the IRS as an agency or any part of the Treasury Department. 31 U.S.C subtitle VI section 9101 does not show the IRS as a Government Owned Corporation under "Government Corporations". 31 U.S.C subtitle I Chapter 9 section 901 does not list the IRS as an authorized agency. I am not going to go into this any farther on the forum. If anyone wants to know more or debate the issue you can pm me.
  5. Taking only one bid is not allowing competition. No With a little research you will find the IRS is a private corporation.
  6. Polititions are like those who participate in the WWF. They act like they hate each other on camera then have drinks and play golf together after the show. Almost all of them work for wall street.

All in the name of environmental preservation.

I used to love that game as a kid. Just think how fun it would be today if we could play it with politicians.

If that's the case one side needs get there IT and bribery skills tuned up. That makes a little more sense that the adds may be slipping through.
  10. For being a site that does not allow political opinion there are sure a lot of one sided political banner adds.

There are several good baits the $25 range. Baitsmith 6in. I know its $27 but worth it. Blackdog shell crackers (Gen 1&2). They are on sale right now at TW. You have already mentioned Rago baits but there is one in the line up that is new. The injected rat. If it fishes anything like the its predecessor it will be worth the money. I am also going to throw in the JSJ pack rat. I have not fished this bait either but watching the demo I know its a fish catcher. Get an MS Slammer. Its just over $30 bucks but worth every penny. If the price point is that big of a deal buy a used one and get the 7in or the 9in. The Osprey Talon is often over looked but is a great bait. The whole line of Tylure baits are good for the money. 3:16 Mission fish is another killer bait. This should give you some options other than what has already been mentioned.
  12. Sorry Texas but........

    1. Get a copy of the book The Big Bass Zone. 2. Buy Advanced Swimbait Tech DVD also by Bill Siemantle.
  14. How a bout Freddie Sanchez. What a job he has done. I think the MVP award is in his sights.
  15. Wow its been a while since I have heard someone mention a pet spoon. I have caught more stripers on a pet spoon than any other artificial. Used to use the diamond jigs for lingcod a lot back in the day also.
  16. I use the pencil style in a few different brands but I would say I buy Mojo most of the time.
  17. Matt knows what's up. He is pretty well known out West.
  18. I said nothing of revolution or alluded to any conspiracy. Dumb is not knowing your rights or fighting for them if you feel something is not right. There is a way to respectfully challenge authority. Just because you think it is good does not mean other people do and they have a right to challenge it. Right or wrong.
  19. Most people didn't. Other than local media the Giants got virtually no attention because they do not really have any super stars on their team. Other than Lincecum or maybe Posey no one else was really a household name before the playoffs. You never know where they are going to get you.
  20. They catch fish. A little tougher than a spook to walk. One thing I do with my punkers is retie the feathers. It will help them walk better. Personally I prefer the wood version (which walks way easier). But both have their place.
  21. Testing the system is what this country was founded on. That is why there is a court system, to rectify bad law.
  22. "Everything matters, yet nothing matters." From what I have learned in my experience color might make up ten percent of the equation. At times it can be the single most critical thing. More often than not it has little bearing. You want big things to happen with swimbaits? Learn how to probe the water column (top, middle, bottom) fishing key locations (points, ridges, humps, flats and creek channels) with precision casts to pin point locations (spot with in the spot) at the right angle creating a funnel into an ambush point. Learn to sell the illusion. Create the strike zone.
  23. We don't have a stamp here but you are a criminal until proven innocent.
  24. That's almost as bad as making Chuck Norris angry.
  25. Please do not take this the wrong way. But if you guys spent half as much time on boat position and the proper angle of the cast as you do focused on color, you would catch a lot more big fish.
