Eastern Ma & New England Area Fishing Reports
Couple of hours on Whitehall got 3 LMB, 10 pickerel, 3 sunfish, and 2 perch. The wife caught half and I caught half. Every fish was caught bouncing 3" sluggos off the bottom. Grampa

Alabama Rig - Lake Champlain (Ny/vt)
Have the same situation in Mass, Timmy Tom's Baits makes an Alabama rig just for us from non-lead stuff. Three shorter arms which I've attached #5 willow leaf spinner blades and two longer arms for swimbaits.....pretty well balanced and effective. You can find them on line and I've no affiliation to them. Grampa

Eastern Ma & New England Area Fishing Reports
Spent a couple of hours on Webster Lake today after the rain stopped...caught a 2.5 LMB with a Wiggle Wart in Crawdad, against a 5' drop off, casting parallel to shore and cranking very slowly...nice fish but the only Bass....3 Pickerel and a Rainbow Trout, rounded out the trip until the 15 mph west wind chased me off the lake. They are reluctantly, starting to bite. Today, slow and easy won the day. Grampa

Berkley Vanish Good Or Bad?
I've been using 4#Vanish on my buggy whips for the last 2-3 years with decent results, also use 20# for flipping and heavy spinnerbait leaders...pike don't bite thru it and my ultralites work just fine...at 4'6" they don't cast very far anyway though. For my needs...it's just fine. Grampa

Transom Mount Transducer Location
I'm curious as to why you are in such a hurry to mount the transducer outside the boat. Both my transducers, the one that came with the boat and the one I installed, myself, are inside and out of harm's way. This was reasonably simple with a puddle of epoxy and a day to dry.

Fishing Elbow....tennis Elbow...casting Arm Pain Part Ii
My PT recommended a Gizmo that straps around my forearm just in front of my casting elbow and has a hard bump which pushes into the muscle. It's saved me elbow pain for the last two years. I'm looking at it right now and it says"ezywrap" has no model# but a web address of www.ezywrap.com Like I said this thing stopped my "tennis elbow" so it might be worth a look. Grampa
