  1. Wow an 8 pounder is a decent fish haha I think I would pass out. She's a beauty nice catch.
  2. Bass in NY will spawn bout the same time as mass, very similar weather brotha.
  3. Anybody catching them yet? I got out over the weekend when the temps were in the 70s, couple on a suspending jerkbait towards the end of the day in about 3 to 7 feet of water but still very slow.
  4. Bass do bite through the ice , all you need is live bait, a hook, and a tip-up and you are set up to catch some fatties. I have caught fish from under a pound to 5 pounds here in connecticut through the ice. Me my dad and my brother also take a yearly trip to my dad's buddys house in maine, he lives right on a pond where we will catch 60 bass in a weekend through the ice, the biggest there also around 5 pounds, but almost all others under 2. Bass bite though the ice, just dont get your hopes up if you got a rod and reel, 6 tip-ups in the water will produce much more and be a lot more fun.

I can usually pop them pretty good without sanding the lower lip, try shorter pops, less of a sweeping motion, which could be why it goes underwater.
  6. Thanks everybody for the replies, finally got it off.
  7. Hey guys I just got a Revo S, just wondering how to remove the sideplate. I see in the instruction manual that you twist it, but I can't get it to come off.
  8. I clicked the link and then shopped, and it said i will get 20 dollars off at the beginning of the checkout, but it never took the 20 off after I submitted the order.
  9. Just after you pay for it and everything they just knock of $20?
  10. How are you suppose to get the 20 bucks back? I don't see anything during checkout.
