  3. My wife already got me one at Hallmark. It's actually a nice ornament. LOL I never thought about hanging lures off the tree. I'm going to try that this year, besides my sons first ornament will be hanging a popper or a spinnerbait. ;D
  4. I've been watching this post for some time now it sucks one person screwed it up for the rest of you guys. I hope we do secret Santa again this year that was a good turn out last year and everybody was happy
  5. Nice write up Chris. You must be an outstanding crankbait fisherman. thanks for sharing.
  6. Hopefully the next 3 days go better. Still 3 lbs. is a nice fish
  7. I use ribbontail worms all the time in green pumpkin or red shad colors though. I just wanted something different to try and see if I catch a little more fish.
  8. x2 When I'm home and on the forums I'm usally on the couch with laptop. My kids are always looking on the screen at people's avatars, they like seeing the pics of the fish. ;D If somebody starts getting out of control they should be banned, I mean there's 24000 members here the mods do a great job keeping everybody in-line.
  9. to the site. Great pics.
  10. Well after using it 15 Mins. on Sunday I threw it away. It's one of the worst baits ever known to man. It wouldn't stay upright underwater, it fall over on it side so you couldn't work it like most baits and when you reel it back to the boat it would spin around like a blade on a spinnerbait would and get your line all twisted up. JUNK > I still like the frogs, But if I use a frog then it's gotta be a RageTail.
  11. Try having a superbowl winning team lose to the Bears and Bengals. Sheesh, I'm really not liking the Steelers this year. Let's see how the rest of the season plays out.
  12. Congrats, It took my wife 18 hours for the first one and 8 hours for the second. When my wife was in labor the first time it was Easter Sunday. We were just getting ready to sit and eat when she went into labor. That was a long day and I was starving since I was smelling the food before I left.
  13. I was throwing a 14 inch ribbontail worm last week and I was watching the bluegill coming up and nipping at it. But who knows..
  14. It might be a bluegill or a crappie
  15. I just picked up a SnagProof Leech at a local store. Anybody use these for Smallies? It looked like it would be a bass magnet, But I don't have time to pre fish with it by tomorrow before the tournament. I just didn't want to waste time throwing it tomorrow if it was getting a bad review on here. Any info would be appreciated. Thanks. joe
  16. I've been pre-fishing at one Reservoir for tomorrow's tournament, and I've been having good luck with Rat-l-traps and jigs. Mostly all the fish I caught were up tight against logs sitting in about 6 feet of water in a creek channel coming into the Reservoir. Good luck.
  17. Nice job. What kind of jack plate do you have on it?

I've had riders bring 10 rods on my boat before, that also depends on what size boat you're going on for the day. Some boats don't have a lot of room like others do you'll have to make that decision when you see what boater you're paired up with for the day in the morning before heading out. You throw what lure your the most comfortable in. Also watch the boater he's going to that spot for a reason and throwing that lure. So watch him. I don't change the lure on my rods thoughout the day often ( that's why you carry so many rods). I've already went through my tackle the night before and already made my choice on what to use. There's days when conditions change where you have to change throughout the day. I don't like wasting a lot of time just changing baits. Crankbaits- I have 2 rods dedicated to just crankbaits. I chose those the night before. (depending where the fish are deep, shallow, ect.) Some boaters are complete arses.LOL They don't want to help you in anyway.AND THEY WILL BLOCK YOU Don't worry about these guys. just try and get through the day. Most guys you ride with will give some kind of game plan of what their going to do for the day first thing in the morning. Some guys will tell you what there using crankbaits, soft plastics, and what depth, ect. They might not tell you their exact lure their using for a competitive edge but they will help you. Hope this helps
  19. Senkos never fail. ;D Nice fish.
  20. Nice looking fish.
  21. x2 I haven't been going first thing in the morning. I've been waiting until after work or on the weekend I'll go around 10 and stay until 2 or3. I have been having better luck going a little later in the day and that's fine with me I'm not freezing my buns off. ;D
